sectors in East-Malaysia. The inaugural Borneo OSH Conference & Exhibition 2019 (BOCE) organised by SWKRG SHE will discuss how to further instil a
culture of preventing unsafe behaviours, work-related ill health, accidents & serves as the enhanced platform for OSH professionals in East-Malaysia.
Under the OSH Master Plan 2016-2020, the Ministry of Human Resources has set up the target to reduce industrial accidents to
2.53 per 1000 workers and industrial fatality rate to 4.36 per 100,000 workers by 2020. The great majority of workplace accidents and diseases are preventable and realizing the vision of zero workplace injuries and illnesses is possible. To achieve this, BOCE 2019 will empower organizations in East-Malaysia to protect the well-being of workers, reduce risk, improve productivity, enhance compliance, and drive measurable business improvement through its occupational safety and health, and corporate social responsibility platforms.
BOCE 2019 will be held from 29th to 30th April 2019 at UCSI, Kuching Sarawak. The exhibition will showcase the latest technologies and solutions in the market.

These rules and regulations constitute an essential part of the Sales Contract (“Contract”) between SHE Practitioner Sarawak Regional Group (SWKRG - SHE) (“Organizer”), MySHEQA Group Sdn Bhd (“Marketing Partner”) and the participant for the exhibit space. The Organizer reserve the right to render all interpretations and to establish further regulations as may be deemed necessary for the general success of the exhibition.
The Organizer reserves the right to prohibit the participant from exhibit its services/products which shall include but not limited to individuals and conducts if in the sole discretion of the Organizer such services/products are not suitable for the exhibition.
The right to make any decision for any matter in regards to the exhibition shall rest upon the Organizer and the decision of the Organizer shall be �nal and conclusive.
Distribution of advertising material and any kind of solicitation by the participant shall be restricted within the exhibit space. The services /products of the participant shall be maintained within the area of the exhibit space. The participant shall not assign and/or sub-let the exhibit space to any third party without the prior written consent from the Organizer.
Participant is required at all times to keep and maintain the exhib-it space complete with their services/products and adequately sta� the exhibit space with its employees during the exhibition.
Participant is required to comply with any applicable laws and regulations by the relevant authorities and observe the rules and conditions impose by the owner and/or the operator of the venue of the exhibition.
Participant must make the full payment upon submitting the Contract (“Contract Price”) to the Organizer and failing to do so will render this Contract as invalid. Participant must make sure all cheques are payable to “MySHEQA Group”. Participant is required to comply with this rule unless otherwise stated in the written consent from the Organizer.
In the event the participant want to terminate this Contract prior three (3) months from the date of the exhibition, the participant must serve the Organizer with a three (3) months written notice together with a payment of 10% of the Contract Price as cancellation fees. Participant is not allowed to terminate this Contract within three (3) months from date of the exhibition or the Organizer shall have the absolute right to forfeit the Contract Price and any part thereof as agreed liquidated damages, and this shall apply mutatis mutandis to participant that enters into this Contract within the period of three (3) months from the date of the exhibition.
The participant must carry their own insurance. The Organizer will not be liable for any damages caused by theft, �re accident or whatsoever reason su�ered by the properties of the participant, its o�cer, agents, employees or guests before, during and after the exhibition. The participant hereby agrees to hold the Organizer harmless from any liability resulting from the injuries or damages su�ered by the properties of the participant, its o�cer, agents, employees or guests.
In the event the participant fails to comply with any rules and regulations contain herein, the Organizer shall have the absolute rights to forfeit the Contract Price and any part thereof and to sale or transfer the exhibit space to another entity without prejudice to the Organizer’s right of action against the participant for damages for antecedent breach under this Contract.
In the event the participant is unable to attend and/or complete the exhibition space with its services/products, the Organizer will in its sole discretion to decide any further arrangement for the exhibition space including but not limited to occupy the exhibition space or to allow another entity to use the exhibition space without prejudice to the right of the Organizer to claim for the Contract Price and any part thereof. For avoidance of doubt, in the event of the aforesaid occur, the participant hereby agree that all monies paid under this Contract will not be refunded by the Organizer.
The Organizer shall not be liable if the Organizer is unable to deliver the exhibition space to the participant on the day of the event due to the reason of the owner of the venue fails to provide the venue for the exhibition or any other reason unforeseeable by the Organizer. In the event the aforesaidoccur, the participant hereby agrees to waive their right to claim for damages from the Organizer and the Organizer shall have the right to retain all monies paid by the participants and have the right to change the exhibition to another date. For avoidance of doubt, the Organizer shall have the absolute right to change the name, dates, venue, hours and mechanism of the exhibition.
The participant hereby acknowledge and understand that nothing shall be paste, tack, nailed, bolt or attachment in any form to the columns, walls, �oors or any part of the venue of the exhibition without proper written approval from the building authority or the Organizer. All packing, unpacking & assembly of the services/products of the participant shall be completed in the designated area and to comply with the direction of the venue’s manager or his assistants. All booths must be set up not later than the day prior to the day of the exhibition.
The Organizer will provide a copy of the participants’ manual to the participant. The participant shall read and comply with all the rules and regulations stated therein. The participant shall be fully liable for any damage due to the non-compliance of the participants’ manual and the participant shall indemnify the Organizer for the same.
The speci�c requirements for installation and dismantling at the venue of the exhibition are set forth in the participants’ manual & in the event such installation or dismantling is not stated in the participants’ manual, the participant should obtained the prior written con�rmation from the Organizer before commence any installation & dismantling work.
The Organizer may at anytime in its absolute discretion to have access to the displays of the participant.
The Organizer shall have the absolute rights to amend this rules and regulations from time to time. A copy of the amended rules and regulations will be provided to the participant.
Due to the reason of safety and security, the participant hereby agrees that the services includingbut not limited to drayage, rigging and booth furnishings will only be provided exclusively by the contractor appointed by the Organizer.
The displays of the services/products of the participant shall not obstruct the general view of other participant’s booth or displays. In the event the displays of the participant are not in accordancewith the rules and regulation herein or the participants’ manual, unless prior written approval from the Organizer has been obtained by the participant, the Organizer reserve the right to remove any display of the participant at the participant’s costs and expenses if in the opinion of the Organizer the display has caused any inconvenience to the other participants.
This Contract shall be govern by the laws of Malaysia.
