The United Organizing Committee warmly invite You to participate in CONFERENCE OF MINERAL ENGINEERING consisting of XVII International Conference of Mineral Processing and XLIX Symposium on Physicochemical Problems of Mineral Processing . The conference will be held September 10-12, 2012 in Białka Tatrzańska. The conferences have a long-standing tradition and became the most important meeting of representants of science and industry, connected with raw materials utilization and ecology, in Poland. Before the conference, most probably, the AGH Scientific Papers - Górnictwo and Geoinżynieria Quarterly and volume 48 and 49 of Physicochemical Problems of Mineral Processing semi-annual will be published in which the papers will be included. The joined conferences registration fee is 350 EUR per person. The cost for accompanying person is 150 EUR zł (+ VAT). Detailed information about the program will be provided in the next circular, which will be distributed in June 2012. CALL FOR PAPERS The topics of the papers should be connected with issues from the widely understood mineral processing and physicochemical bases of minerallurgical processes, bio- and hydrmetallurgy, ecology etc. The papers may be of the basic or practical character. Please, send the full texts of manuscripts till 15 of April, 2012. Both the papers for Physicochemical Problems of Mineral Processing and the papers for AGH Scientific Papers must be written in English. Eventual translation from other languages can be arranged by the organizers by an additional fee (price is negotiable). The papers must contain title and abstract in English and Polish (for PPMP only English). The figures and tables captions should be written in both Polish and English too (except PPMP). The papers should not contain more than 10 pages (Times New Roman 12, interspace 1.5). The papers will be reviewed according to the rules of the journals. The ones qualified for printing, after being reviewed and eventual revision, written in MS Word must be returned to the Editorial Offices in electronic version together with a printout or by e-mail before 31 of May, 2009. Together with final version of the paper, the amount of 100 EUR should be sent for the printing costs. This amount will be subtracted from the full registration fee.
