Established 08.08.08, Yealands Family Wines was always destined to be a story of thinking differently, boldly.
Inspired by his deep love of the land, founder Peter Yealands sculpted the rolling Awatere landscape to capture the complexity of this unique ancient terroir. New Zealand’s most coastal vineyard, our grapes are nurtured to produce an intensity of flavours that showcase Marlborough at its very best. Relax beside one of our many native wetlands, soak up the classical music serenading the vines or discover the tranquillity of the Pacific Ocean from Lookout Point. Even the miniature Babydoll sheep are smiling, as they help us to gently tend the vine rows.
The Yealands Estate Winery is nestled on the Seaview Peninsula in the Awatere Valley, to the South East of Marlborough’s Wairau Plains. It is our pleasure to offer you a warm welcome at our award winning Cellar door where you can experience:
• Wine tasting (groups of eight or more please book in advance).
• Guided tours of the White Road (bookings essential).
• Audio-visual and interactive displays.
• Wine and merchandise sales.
• A selection of cheeses and crackers available for purchase.
• 7.5 km Self-drive vineyard tour. The White Road includes stunning sweeping views overlooking the Cook Strait to the North Island, Cape Campbell and Mount Tapuae-o-Uenuku
• Picnic areas and children’s playground
