Our historic site and central location 

within Manchester make us an accessible 

centre within the North of England. 

We offer a friendly and welcoming 

venue for meetings, conferences 

and training courses all year-round 

Monday to Saturday.

We have a choice of eleven different 

rooms and provide both modern and more 

traditional spaces. Our largest room can 

hold up to 300 delegates. All rooms have 

audio-visual equipment available for hire.

Friends’ Meeting House has been a recognised meeting place in Manchester city centre since 1828. Home to the Quakers, we welcome diversity and believe in equality for all. SPACES FOR ALL EVENTS

Friends’ Meeting House,  6 Mount Street,  Manchester,  M2 5NS

Main HallOur historic hall has been retro-fitted to 

provide outstanding acoustics. The tiered 

balconies, accessible via stairs, increase 

seating capacity to 300. If you are only 

using the ground floor space, the panelled 

balcony walls around this floor area help 

create a more intimate gathering. This is 

a superb plenary space for conferences, 

training courses, seminars, large meetings 

and away days. 

F12 & F13Both F12 and F13 are sizable meeting 

rooms that boast an abundance of natural 

light from large windows. They are quiet 

rooms at the back of the building and 

are useful for intense training days. Both 

open out on to the atrium allowing you 

to welcome guests or enjoy catering 

and refreshments. They are great places 

for away days, board meetings, group 

workshops, or break out spaces. 

G1/G3/G4These rooms lend themselves well to 

group workshops and training. They can 

also be used as break out spaces for the 

Main Hall. G4 has a more informal style 

and works well as a space for creative 

workshops. G1 and G3 are more formal 

style spaces and fitting for away days, 

board meetings, group workshops or 

break out spaces.

SPACES FOR ALL EVENTS

Corridor rooms F14–F17Connected by a corridor F14–F17 on the 

first floor are small, simple and well-lit 

meeting rooms. They are suitable for 

interviews, mediation, one-to-ones, and 

small board meetings.

Upper HallThe Upper Hall is a really flexible space that 

can be used as one large room or two smaller 

ones. The high quality folding wall provides 

excellent acoustic separation and allows the 

Upper Hall to be divided into F12 and F13. 

Contemporary clean lines and integrated 

technology in both parts of the Upper Hall 

means it is perfect for studious days away 

from the office, as well as conferences, 

seminars, training courses and meetings. 

F11F11 has iconic views of some of 

Manchester’s finest buildings and is an 

ideal executive suite. With large windows 

and oak floor the space feels light, 

peaceful and elegant. This room is perfect 

for a stress-free board meeting, training 

or as a break out space for the Upper Hall 

on the first floor.

CATERING TO KEEP YOUR DELEGATES MOTIVATED

REST ASSURED WITH OUR DDR PACKAGE Save time and rest assured knowing you have everything covered with our Day Delegate Rate (DDR). Unlimited drinks, plenty of snacks, delicious food and a range of equipment specific to your room, means our DDR package offers maximum flexibility.

DDR includes: the hire of the room, a 

variety of pastries upon arrival or cake 

for the afternoon pick-me-up. Equipment: 

one each of flipchart, PA system or 

speakers, data projector, lectern 

and laptop. Delegate welcome packs 

(notepad, pens and chocolate). Unlimited 

tea, coffee and biscuits and your choice of 

selected buffets with juice for your group. 

Our caterers, Good Mood Food prepare buffets to reinvigorate and keep delegates happy throughout the day. Take a look at our menus which include seasonal options.
