Event Location: Fort Malakoff
Historic Fort Malakoff at Hyatt Regency Mainz combines contemporary architecture and style with the splendor of a historic building. Within the arched vaults of Fort Malakoff, the “Palatorium” banquet suite can accommodate up to 80 people, while the historic “Wine-Cellar” is ideal for smaller events of up to 54 people. We guarantee an enjoyable evening in the stylish atmosphere of the Malakoff Bar, with its courtyard “Hofgarten”, where we offer a diverse selection of beverages and snacks. The three floors of Fort Malakoff can be booked for events for up to 200 people. Our wedding room, which is connected to the “Palatorium” on the 1st floor is available for civil weddings.
Adjacent to the hotel, the Piazza features beautiful views over the Rhine, marking it the perfect venue for a cocktail reception, product launch, barbecue evening or gala dinner. Whether guests are looking for a historic location such as the Wine Cellar, or a contemporary location with an open show kitchen such as the “Palatorium”, the team at Hyatt Regency Mainz is thrilled to host groups for any occasion and make every event extra special.

Twice a month, part of Fort Malakoff also serves as a registration office for weddings, allowing guests to combine an official ceremony with an idyllic reception at this exclusive historic site.
Or say „I do“ in our wedding room, that is connected to the „Palatorium“.
The “Palatorium” is the perfect location for private lunches, dinners or any kind of individual event for up to 80 guests. Private cooking classes for smaller groups can be held in the modern show kitchen, which is part of the “Palatorium”.

In the wine cellar at Fort Malakoff there are long wooden tables which make for casual lounge seating and the integrated wine display promotes conversation and conviviality. With a capacity of 45 people the wine cellar is the ideal place for

"family-style". This means that appetizers, main dishes and
desserts are placed in big bowls, on plates and in pans in the
middle of the table and everyone can help himself or herself. This
"togetherness" eating forms an interactive communication
