    This document shows how to maintain margin at merchandise hierarchy level and use

    that margin in sales price calculation (VKP5).

    First we need to create a condition table to hold the data at the defined organiational

    level (!ales "rg # $istribution %hannel # !ite # &erchandise %ategory 'ierarchy). This is

    defined in %ustomiing under Sales and Distribution Basic Functions Pricing Pricing Control Define Condition Table. The details are shown below

    ow we define the customied condition type that will provide the data in this table. The

    condition type is given the name *&'+. This is defined in %ustomiing under Sales andDistribution Basic Functions Pricing Pricing Control Define Condition Type .'ere are the details of the condition type

    The access se,uence maintained in the condition type is maintained beforehand. This is

    0t may so happen that the field 123'04 is not mapped initially. 0n this case6 you need to

    map it by K"&P723+8- by selecting Field Catalogbutton below the screen and

    pointing to the field.

    2e also need to maintain the Pricing Procedure for calculating the sales price from

    purchase price. This is done underSales and Distribution Basic Functions Pricing Pricing Control Define and Assign Pricing Procedure. The details are shown below

    into account when we do a price calculation. (This is also not a mandatory field unless we

    need to customie the pricing table6 which is not the case here. >ut the reader shouldobserve the variant and its contents and see how they are populated using various

    conditions and subtotals). This is done under Define List &ariant and Assign 'te%s. Thescreen shots follow

    The ne:t step is configuring the data flow from conditions to pricing table. This is done

    by assigning conditions or subtotals from sales price calculation schema into list fields of
