Configuring your SISD laptop to connect to your home wireless network

1) Double-click on the icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen (near the clock) that has four

vertical bars on it: This is the Dell Wireless WLAN [Configuration] Utility.

2) Click on the Wireless Network tab.

3) Make sure the following boxes are checked:

Let this tool manage your wireless settings

Show utility icon

Enable radio

4) Click on the Add button. By default, the wizard opens the Connect to a network task window, which displays the information about all wireless networks that are within range.

5) Click on your wireless network and click Next.

6) If you have configured your home wireless network for encryption, enter your network key. Otherwise, skip this step.

7) Click on Connect.

8) Wait a few moments for your computer to connect to the wireless network.

9) Close the Dell Wireless WLAN [Configuration] Utility.
