Congratulations to current ECC Club Champion Perry Graciano on winning the 2015 PA State Senior Amateur Championship which was held at Longue Vue Club. Perry shot rounds of 72-69 to win this coveted title over the best Senior Amateur golfers in Pennsylvania. Once engraved, the trophy will be hosted here at ECC for the next year. Congrats Perry on this great accomplishment!!! The ECC Membership

FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER From the General Manager;
Labor Day marks the unofficial ending of summer but not the end of the Golf season. We will close
the Pool year with a classic cookout on Labor Day as well as in the DRG. The pool will close for the
year but the paddle season will begin to heat up.
This month we are going to add a twist to our traditional Seafood night by making a Lobster Night on
Saturday September 19th. We will have full lobsters for you as well as other lobster entrees. If you
would like a whole 1 ½ pound lobster for your dinner that evening we are asking you to let us know
by Tuesday, September 15th.
As a reminder we are open for Breakfast every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am… We feature a
great Breakfast Buffet on the last Sunday of the month.
There is still plenty of golf left. With the WGA Ryder Cup on Tuesday September 1stthe Mixed
Annual Party on Saturday September 12th, Super Stag on Friday September 18
th and the Gross
Match Play Championship on September 19th and 20
th. The Twilight Golf events have been a lot of
fun for those who have participated so please join us for the last Twilight Golf event on Friday
September 25th.
It is the time of the year when our golf
course goes through Aerification. Weather
permitting, we will do our Fairway Aerification
on Tuesday and Wednesday September
22nd
and 23rd
and the following week the
Greens Aerification will be Tuesday and
Wednesday the 29th and 30
th.

FROM THE GOLF PRO Where did the Golf Season go?
First I want to congratulate all of our Club Champions. I had the opportunity to be out on the course watching a lot of the action unfold. All of our champions worked hard and deserve the praise they receive.
Randi Lichtenstein won the Ladies Gross Club Championship and Frankie Fundis took home the Ladies Net Club Championship. Perry Graciano won the Men’s Gross Club Championship and Rick Thomas won the Net Club Championship. Vinny Meinert was our Junior Club Champion. Finally our Men’s August Invitational was held and Mike Pistorius and his father Mike Pistorius Sr. were crowned our champions of that event. Congrats to all of our champions!!!

Our Annual Men’s Super Stag will take place on Friday September 18th. It is a 27 hole one
day Member Guest. The sign up sheet is posted in the Men’s Locker Room. The event is open to all Resident and Intermediate members. Don’t miss out on the action. Sign up for this great event today.
If you are like many players including myself, September is a personal favorite time of year to play a round of golf. The climate is ideal and nature provides a great background to come out and make some swings.
With the amount of daylight changing, so does our first tee time on weekends and certain hours of operation. Starting after Labor Day, the first tee time on weekends will be 7:30 AM. Weekend SWATS will now begin at 9:30 AM. The first time on weekdays will stay at 8:00 AM.
During the upcoming month we will be doing our fall aeration on the Golf Course. The fairway aeration will be done on September 22
nd -23
rd. Greens aeration will take place
September 29th – October 1
st. During those days, the entire golf course and driving range
are closed. The Golf Shop hours will be 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM during aeration.
Finally, the fall season is here. Make sure to check out the latest lines of Men’s and Ladies’ clothing in the golf shop. These lines include shirts and pullovers from Cutter and Buck, Polo, Peter Millar, Zero Restriction, and Straight Down.
