We thank Marvin Sacks, Elsie Rothstein, Nancie Bair & Lenny Sacks for continuing to memorialize their parents with this program. May their memory serve as a source of blessing & inspiration. The luncheon will be catered by our very own Keisari Catering & Dr. Elliot Bartky will be the featured speaker. It promises to be a beautiful event. Dr. Bartky’s first lecture: “Why the Jews: Contemporary anti-Jewish thought and action in historical perspective” will meet at 1:00 PM (Babysitting will be provided to enable all to attend). There will be a second lecture at 6:30 PM: “Why the Jews: Teshuva, saving us from ourselves”. See page 3 for the event flyer. Dr. Elliot Bartky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political science at Indiana Purdue University, Fort Wayne where he has taught since 1988. He also teaches as an adjunct Associate Professor in the Program of Liberal Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Bartky’s publications include articles and essays on religion and politics, American political thought, ancient political thought, and Jewish political thought. Bartky is president of the Jewish American Affairs Committee of Indiana (JAACI).
