We offer AWS-Certified solutions architects, AWS technical professionals, and AWS business professionals with direct experience developing, implementing and maintaining large-scale, highly-complex environments on AWS GovCloud (US), as well as the commercially-available US East and US West regions. Accelera been working with AWS since 2009. Our trained and certified personnel are experienced with AWS-endorsed best practices, including the Cloud Adoption Framework; however, based on our experience, we have established our own internal set of best practices around cloud deployment, application migration, transition, and operations and maintenance. Our team leverages the native AWS services, like CloudWatch metrics combined with Simple Notification Service (SNS) to help monitor the health of the infrastructure. We developed our CloudFormation templates to initially provision the downstream application environments. We also use third-party tools like OpManager for integrated alerts and network monitoring. Because we manage multiple client projects simultaneously running on AWS, Accelera has implemented stringent account management practices and leverages third-party tools to help manage all the AWS accounts that fall under our AWS Master accounts. Accelera administers AWS consolidated billing for multiple agencies and commercial entities. Multiple Department of Energy Laboratory, Health and Human Services (HHS), and Department of Defense (DoD) customers have AWS accounts that fall under Accelera’s Master Organizations/Consolidated Billing. In almost all cases, the agency owns their own AWS account with varying control provided to Accelera to help manage and support the end users. We provide routine lessons learned and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions after each major release. For example, after our initial application migration from the legacy, Government-run datacenter, we held a series of working sessions with the client and associated support teams to provide feedback on the process and identify areas of improvement. Accelera has supported customers migrating/deploying applications into AWS and public cloud platforms for many years. For a DoD Customer, Accelera developed an application to allow development projects to be tracked and shared with project sponsors.
