An Ash Wednesday Message from Mrs. Argenti Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and the season ofpreparation through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Though Lent is usuallya solemn time of scaling back and putting others before self, it is also atime of spiritual reflection so we are prepared for the mystery of theresurrection at Easter. During this season, I challenge you to beintentional about making time for Christ in your life. Whether throughprayer, stripping away excess (fasting), or serving others (almsgiving), Ihope you will join me in 40 days of a disciplined practice of our Catholicfaith.
