WHAT IS ROAD AND PAVEMENT

A course of material is placed on the sub rade to provide drainaeand stability.

A course of fairly riid material, sometimes cement or asphalttreated, that is placed on the sub base to provide a stable platformfor the concrete pavement slab.

mechanically connect slabs. "he connection helps to spread a loadapplied on one slab onto slabs alon its perimeter.

COMPACTION OF CONCRETE

Purpose of compaction is that to pull out air from void and makeconcrete harden. %ompaction done by'.Mechanically surface vibrator

settin the concrete curin process done till '-+Hdays.
