ACCRA project Consultant · Based Maputo Mozambique · TC - SC 95 ACCRA is a consortium made up of four organizations operating in Mozambique aims to implement advo-cacy and research project and is looking for an experi-ence consultant to work on climate hazards, variability and change. The programme will bring together good practice from Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Sustaina-ble Livelihoods and Social Protection programming to better understand how programmes and policies can support communities’ and individuals’ capacity to adapt to climate change.

Duration for the consultancy : 15 days from Novem-ber 05th – 20th

Consultant Requeriments:

Educational Degree in comunication and social sci-ence

Similar relevant Experience

Substantial training and advocacy experience

Committed to deadlines

Hability to relate with people

Yoga Retreat in Mavulula - November 5, 6, 7

Mavulula is home to Novo Destino’s rural community development project. It is located about an hour and a half north of Xai-Xai, 8 km inland from the village of Chissibuca on EN1. Come for a relaxing weekend of simple living, yoga, meditation, nature walks, relaxation, star gazing, and playing with the farm animals! We need people who have 4 x 4’s who are willing to drive. We could leave early Friday afternoon or early, early Saturday morning (5 am-ish). After we arrive, we can set up tents, eat, relax, and visit the farm. The usual ar-rangements: everyone pitches in, bringing food, sharing gas costs; folks bring tents and/or mosquito nets and camping mattresses. We have pit latrines, our own bore hole with fresh water for drinking and bathing, a gas stove for cooking, and Ernesto, everyone’s favorite donkey. (Attached are a few pictures to give you an idea of what it looks like.) Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in going and/or can drive.
