Deadlines

Be very aware of SFSU deadlines!◦ Drop: only 2 weeks into semester: Sept 4

Drop on your Student Center Instructor is NOT responsible for dropping you

◦ Add: 4 weeks into semester: Sept 21 Use permission number procured from instructor Instructor cannot add you If class is “full” go to the first day of class; be an advocate for yourself! If the

class is on your Graduation Plan, it may only be offered then and you must have it that semester.

◦ CR/NC: Oct 19 Need at least a C- for CR; NC does not hurt GPA Use this if no documentation to withdraw Request on your Student Center Instructor cannot do this for you Note: Letter grade required for all major courses, not CR

◦ Withdrawal deadlines: Nov 20; Dec 16 Needs instructor, dept chair, and college dean signatures Needs documentation for serious and compelling reason

There may be changes. You may need updated Advising/Graduation Plan on first day of classes. The

dept office will scan and email plan to you.

• Forward your SF State email to your personal account• It’s important to get all faculty and university emails, sent from rosters and ilearn

Double count major/minor and GE (120 units)
