• sell a wide variety of goods from stalls out in the streets or squares

• Vendors go round streets, call at different homes in order to sell a product

• The way people choose to spend their money• Influenced by many factors:1. Personal - wants, needs, likes/dislikes,
emotions/mood, knowledge, values2. Social- gender, age, family, friends, trends,
entertainment options
3. Psychological- impulse, planned buying, emotions, celebrations, rewards
4. Environmental- reused products, energy efficient, CFC- free products, items not tested on animals...
5. Economic- income, credit cards, special offers, sales, hire purchase options, free credit options
