Distinct carrier since graduation (BUMS) passed with first division and first position

and distinction in Amraz Uzan Anaf Halq (E.N.T.) paper. Received University Gold

Medal for standing first in BUMS (1967). Teaching carrier started since 1972, during the

service passed the Diplomas of Proficiency in Arabic and Persian languages in evening classes

from AMU. Passed the Diploma in Health Management (correspondence course) from

Institute of Public Healthcare, Chennai and completed the M.D (Unani) from AMU in 1983 (on

study leave). Teaching and research interests are in experimental work on basic fundamental

of Unani Medicine, pharmacological studies on both single & compound Unani formulations.

During the teaching carrier also served in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of

India, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi as Advisor (Unani) on Deputation for five years
