Governor Rick Scott Appoints Two to Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Robert Sibley and the reappointment of Sharon Cunningham to the Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers. Sibley, 70, of Winter Springs, is a retired financial manager with Charles Schwab and Company. He succeeds Margaret Rogers and is appointed for a term beginning February 4, 2015, and ending October 31, 2015. Cunningham, 71, of Sarasota, is the president of Cunningham Property Management. She is reappointed for a term beginning February 4, 2015, and ending October 31, 2018. The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

The Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers SARASOTA, FL – On September 18th, 2013, Florida Governor Rick Scott appointed Cunningham Property Management Corporation President, Sharon Cunningham, to the Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers. The Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers duties relate to licensure examination, continuing education requirements, continuing education providers, fees and professional practice standards relative to the Community Association Manager profession. The Council holds quarterly meetings and engages in rulemaking to implement the provisions set forth in its statutes and conducts other general business, as necessary. The Council consists of seven members; five community association managers (one employed by a timeshare management entity) and two consumer members. Ms. Cunningham is delighted to represent the timeshare industry in the Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers and is looking forward to serving with excellence and distinction. Cunningham Property Management Corp. (CPMC) is a timeshare property management company headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1985 by business partners Sharon Cunningham and Kevin Mattoni, CPMC is dedicated to providing quality vacation services at reasonable prices.
