Lead-free plain bearings for onboard devices

Resin-based plain bearings have a 3-layer structure in which bronze sintered porous back steel is impregnated with fluorine-based resin that has a low coefficient of friction. The resin layer acts as a lubricating substance and makes oilless use possible. Our resin plain bearings are lead-free products possessing the required low-friction, high-load, high-rotation characteristics and used in a variety of products including automotive shock absorbers.

Metal-based plain bearings

Our metal-based plain bearings, which have a bimetal structure featuring copper powder sintered onto a back steel, have been widely used as plates for hydraulic pumps and as bushings for the undercarriages of construction equipment. We also develop and manufacture lead-free products conforming to the ELV directive and RoHS directive adopted by the European Union (EU).

Copper washers are suitable for preventing the tightened bolts from becoming looseand are used as gaskets to prevent oil leakage from hydraulic equipment, including brake hoses.
