This target is fulfilled through permanent training of manpower on the local and international levels. Finally, I dedicate my thanks and gratitude to the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation for their incessant support for Enppi which enables it to take a positive part in the Egyptian Economy and also for Enppi’s clients inside and outside Egypt for their trust, which will remain a stimulus to exert more efforts to maintain their trust.

I would like to thank all our board of directors and employees who worked hard to uphold the reputation of our esteemed company, which was positively reflected in the achievement of our goals in spite of the confronted challenges. This was apparent in the rapid decrease in the crude oil prices causing the postponing or termination of various oil and gas projects on the Arab and international levels which made the competition tough among the international companies to win the execution of limited available projects locally and globally. Due to the faithful efforts and persistence of our colleagues, Enppi succeeded to gain the appreciation of our customers, and won several projects bids and Work Authorizations inside and outside Egypt in the oil & gas, refining, natural gas and its transformational industries to high value products, in addition to field development, petrochemicals and fertilizers projects, electric power generation, environment protection and infrastructure projects in compliance with the international standards. The utilization of the domestic product comprising equipment, materials is on the top of our priorities, in addition to the abidance with the front-line international standards of quality, environment, health and safety as

2. Adding SESAM MARINE Software to Offshore Engineering DivisionIn line with the Company’s vision to be a leading EPC contractor, and to provide full integrated engineering Services for offshore projects; Enppi purchased (SESAM MARINE) the state of the art in naval engineering field and subsequently conducted a professional training program by the software developer (DNV GL).Acquiring (SESAM MARINE) would boost Enppi capabilities in the engineering of floating structures and marine units, and their interface with the fixed offshore structures and help resolve many marine operations related problems that Enppi used to outsource before.

Technology Development:

1. Deep WaterIn light of the growing global demand for energy and the increasing need to develop oil and gas extraction mechanisms to gain access to new reserves specially deep water. Due to the importance of developing our capabilities in the field of deep water and subsea engineering, Enppi conducted a study for the required technical market requirements and we prepared a specialized team to take the the lead in this promising field. An integrated plan has been developed on several axes to develop the Company's capabilities in the field of deepwater field engineering including preparation sets of specifications for the field of deep installations. The company's development process included training a specialized team for the engineering activities related to this type of projects, in addition to the preparation of design guides as reference to the company concerned staff in all technical and engineering aspects of deep water projects. As a result of this trend, ENPPI has participated in several deep-water gas extraction projects as "PMT" or as "integrated engineering team" such as "North Bardwell", "Denis-B", "Dekka" and ZOHR projects. To complete the aforementioned plan, the company obtained all the codes, engineering specifications and software related to the engineering field in subsea engineering; hence the Company is fully prepared to carry out specialized projects in subsea projects.

3. Conductor Supported Platform (CSP)Offshore Engineering division has introduced “Conductor Supported Platform (CSP) concept“ in one of General Petroleum company GPC offshore platforms (NAO platform), (CSP) is a cost effective solution for marginal Oil/Gas fields that requires minimal offshore structure which reduces fabrication and installation cost/duration. Adopting (CSP) concept would increase competitiveness of Enppi in the marginal field development. Compared to conventional platform system, (CSP) concept is based on utilizing the conductors as the main supporting element of the topside in lieu of the traditional pile foundations. The cost efficiency is coming from merging the cost of the foundation piles and conductors. In addition, the resulted reduction in substructure and deck weights allows installation of the platform by smaller Derrick Barges or even by drilling rigs and consequently installation cost reduction.
