My style of photography
I want to tell the authentic story of your wedding day and capture the moments that will re-ignite your day whenever you look back at them. From the getting ready, the emotion of the ceremony until the party at night. For me wedding photography is about the genuine moments, emotions and a stage to give you images that are creatively different and powerful.
On the day, much like in life, I’m pretty chilled and relaxed. I work in a natural, documentary style - photographing your day in a way that won’t intrude, leaving you to enjoy every moment. I want to capture you having a great time, enjoy being with your friends and family and having a laugh, exactly as it happens – your story.
Together, we’ll find the right balance of photographs. If you want to avoid posed pictures, we don’t pose. If you want some posed portraits, they’ll be special, happen naturally and will take just the right amount of time. We’ll cover those family shots, the bridal party shots and the shots of your dog!
My goal is to achieve spontaneous, creative photography, all in a relaxed way.

Originally from South East London, I am now an honorary northerner after living in this neck of the woods for over 20 years. I live in Todmorden with my wife, two children and two dogs. I’ve been a photographer for over 30 years and have graduated from university with a HND in photographic design and a first class honours degree in photography.
I love being out with my family walking the dogs in the wilds of The Dales & The Lake District, am a bit of a foodie and love a good crackly fire in the local in winter.
Natural photography, emotional moments, gorgeous portraits - simply capturing you on your best day ever.

Edited photographsEach and every image will be processed by me, so they are perfectly balanced - bring out the best in every shot.
High resolution photosYou’ll get a disc of high quality photographs with no watermark, and full usage rights, to do with as you please!
Fully insuredI’m fully insured and have public liability insurance. Venues often ask for my certificate, which I’m happy to send to them.
Online galleryYour photos will be available on your own web page with your own log in to a beautiful online gallery. You can share with family and friends instantly through Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. You can also order prints directly from your gallery!
Guest WishesGuests Wishes are a unique, quirky addition which personalise your day. I collect hand written message from your guests, take a quick snap of them and put it all together in a polaroid style.
Wedding albumsAlbums are made by you and me. I make a contemporary design, you have what you want where ever you want it. There are so many options of covers, styles and touches to personalise your album.

There’s a variety of keepsakes available from your photographs. From full size wedding albums to tiny pocket books, I can also order individual prints and canvasses for you to display proudly at home.
Wedding AlbumsI work with a studio in Italy to produce the finest wedding albums with a lifetime guarantee. An Original Wedding Book is a photo album with a customisable cover. A Young Book is an album produced in the same way but with it’s own bespoke case. These are available in a square, portrait or landscape format and sizes range from 30 x 20in up to 50 x 40in with up to 100 pages! There are many materials and finishes available to choose from to make your album completely unique. I will design your album in reflection of your day, with beautiful layouts and story telling pages.
Parent and Pocket AlbumsParent and Pocket books are smaller versions of your brochure that you can give to families and friends. They are a perfect copy of your main wedding album, and range from 30 x 20in right down to 6 x 4in!
PrintsI can order prints, with or without frames for you, and all you have to do is let me know which images you’d like to have. These are printed on high quality crystal archive paper of on cartridge paper for a beautiful finish, and mounted in your choice of frame.
CanvasesSizes range from 12 x 8in to a truly massive 72 x 30in. Printed on high quality canvas and hand mounted, canvasses are a popular choice for large, airy hallways or a statement piece on your bedroom wall.
Thank You CardsThank you cards are a wonderful way to personally say thank you to your guests. Any size, any design, just let me know what you’d like.

Pre-wedding Shoots
Pre-wedding shoots are the perfect way to get used to the camera before your wedding day. It’s also an opportunity to create save-the-date cards and explore the style of photo you want. We spend half a day in your favourite location and create a set of photos that are really natural.
On average, you can expect to receive an edit of about 50 photographs. These are all properly edited in the same way your wedding photos are done and then delivered to an online gallery. A typical shoot that would be around £250 (guide price only) and include travel to a 30 mile radius, upload to an online gallery and the original high resolution photographs.
Destination Weddings
I have been all over Europe photographing gorgeous weddings in beautiful locations. Organising photography abroad can be more challenging though and it’s a whole lot easier if you take your trusted photographer with you and have them here when you get back.
In addition to the cost of photography, there will be flights, accommodation and travel to add to your package. Whilst the cost is understandably higher, having a dedicated photographer means you can choose someone personally, meet with them and develop a level of trust. Just give me some of the details I’ll need and I will do all of the organising - giving you peace of mind.

Greg and Laura chose this secluded sanctuary in the Lancashire countryside for the intimate space it offered for their big day. They chose to do a ‘First Look’, and had the chance to see one another before walking down the aisle - a truly personal and emotional moment.

Andy gave everything we could ever want from our photographer. He captured our day perfectly without us feeling like we always had a camera pointed at us - we felt so relaxed, there were times I even forgot he was there! We have so many beautiful, precious moments we can look back on forever, we are so happy with the results.
With gorgeously sophisticated decor and a contemporary chic style, Falcon Manor matched Leanne’s ambition for her photos. In the natural flow of the day we achieved wonderfully creative couple photos as well some spontaneously beautiful moments.

We felt really lucky that we found Andy! He is great to work with and he did his very best to make our wedding photos perfect. Andy spent time with us before our big day so he knew exactly what we wanted and what we liked. If you decide on Andy for your photography he will definitely not disappoint, not only is he a great photographer but he’s a great guy who will do anything he can for you.
Katie and Matts wedding was a wonderful whirlwind, complete with an elegant church service in a quintessential setting of the village green, a retro camper van and a visit from the family dog. They married in the beautiful country pub style house that is The Villa, and went on to party the night away, marquee style.
On the day, Andy was exactly what was needed: early, calm, easy to work with, friendly, helpful, organised and creative. He remained in the distance capturing our day and whisked us off (with our videographer) for private photographs. Needless to say, Andy worked with ease with our videographers; it was seamless.
