Speaker Edward C K Chin Mr. Chin has 20 years of professional experience in portfolio management, hedge funds and securities

trading. Mr. Chin founded MDE Walters Capital in 2002, a strategy consulting firm that advises the

investment banking and financial services sectors on investment product distribution, hedge funds advisory,

trading psychology, and advanced trading strategies in major financial centers in London, New York, and

the Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Chin writes the column The Inner Circle of Finance at the Hong Kong Economic

Journal every Monday. Mr. Chin is also a board member of a family office with investments primarily in real

estate and hedge funds with directional/ tactical trading styles. On the inner game front, Mr. Chin is a

Certified NLP Coach, a Master Firewalker, a Certified Firewalking Instructor and a hypnotherapy practitioner.

Mr. Chin is a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
