Make this your opening paragraph. Then write a paragraph about each member of your family. Finish with a short paragraph about why it is important that you win the competition and a punchy concluding line, as Julie has done. Check what you have written carefully. Check: adjective endings and position spelling, especially words with lots of vowels (couleur, beaucoup, pourquoi) accents: Don’t confuse grave accents (frère, très) with acute accents (préféré, désastre).
