Control Flow CF-2 is a straight-borecasing head that accepts any of twoheavy duty interchangeable hangers.Each of these hangers (CF-1 and CF-2) can support weight beyond the jointstrength of the pipe itself, with mini-mum casing deflection. TYPE CF-2 CASING HEADS

avoids damage to sealing area by drillbits, and permits hanging more casingweight. These casing heads are usuallyfurnished with two 2-inch outlets, butlarger outlets plus studded or flanged,can be provided if desired. Bottoms ofcasing heads can be male, female, orslip-on type for welding. Top flanges are

available in working pressures up to10,000 psi. All casing head spools willaccept bit guides and secondary sealsif desired. When using bowl protector inCF-2 casing heads, we use 2 lockscrews in upper flange (CF-2BP) or ahold down flange with lock screws canbe furnished.

TYPE CF-1, CF-2 & CF-9 CASING HANGERS

The CF-2 casing hanger combines packoff, slip bowl, andslips into a single unit. The packoff automatically seals thecasing annulus below the slips when casing load is applied,thus allowing annulus packoff before removing blowoutpreventer and cutting casing.

This wraparound hanger is easy to install. Simple construc-tion and few parts make the CF-2 easy and economical torepair, and the individual tapered slip bowl reduces casinghead repairs.

The CF-1 casing hanger consists of slips, slip bowl,and a floating seal ring (type H packoff). Slips andslip bowl can easily be wrapped around the casing.The seal ring slips over the casing and into thecasing head after casing has been suspended andcut off, providing a positive annulus packoff.

DOUBLE PACK-OFF FLANGESThe double pack-off flange provides anauxiliary casing seal and a means for pres-sure testing the casing seal and the primaryannulus seal below the flange.

The double pack-off flange also serves as anintermediate crossover flange when a re-stricted area ring gasket is used in the smallerdiameter top groove. When a crossover isused, the top connection can be exposed to ahigher pressure than the original rated work-ing pressure.

The double pack-off flange has two moldedelastomer P seals which are energized byplastic packing. Pressure applied to the uppertest port tests the P seals. Pressure applied tothe lower test port tests the gasket and theprimary casing seal.

The Control Flow, Type CF-T-16 Tubing Head is a full-opening, threaded bore head. It’s available with API topand bottom flanges, or with threaded or slip-on typebottom for welding. Outlets normally are two , 2 inchscrewed or studded flanges, Large outlets or extendedflanged outlets are available on request. All studdedoutlets have VR (Valve removal) threads to accept valveremoval plugs. This feature allows you to replace full-opening valves under pressure.

All Control Flow, hangers for CF-T-16 can be installedthrough full opening Blow-out Preventers.

The Control Flow, Type CF-T-16 Tubing provides lockdownscrews sufficient to hold down all styles of Tubing Hang-ers and provides additional compression on the annuluspacking flanged bottom available on CF-T-16.

Flanged bottoms available on CF-T-16, CF-00 SecondarySeals, CF-PE, CF-PR and Plain Bottoms. All flangeshave test ports with ball checks for testing the secondaryand primary seal of the Casing Head below. Standardbottom size for the CF-16 pack -off or CF-16-00 reducerbushing is used. This feature provides additional inter-changeability and flexibility, permitting you to change thebit guide or bushing instead of the Tubing Head.

The CF-1A-EN is a mandrel-typethreaded hanger with back pressurevalve threads and extended neck sealsthat provide a positive seal to isolate theflange and the ring gasket from wellpressure and fluids. The bowl seal is ef-fected by o-ring or compression typepackoff. The CF-1A-EN accepts down-hole control lines or injection tubinglines.

CF-TC-1WThe CF-TC-1W is a split type, wrap-around hanger which can be easily as-sembled around the tubing and loweredthrough the preventers. CF-02 TUBING SPOOL ASSEMBLYThe CF-02 Tubing Spool Assembly ismade up of a CF-02 Spool, CF-02Tubing Hanger, CF-W Hanger, and aCFM or CFC Tubing Spool.

The CF-02 Tubing Hanger and BackPressure Valve are installed on thelast tubing joint and the CF-W Hangeris wrapped around the tubing belowthe CF-02 Hanger. This assembly islowered through the blowoutpreventers until the CF-W lands in thetubing spool. The tubing spool tie-down screws are tightened to ener-gize the CF-W Annulus Seal.

Once the CF-W Hanger is installedand the tie-down screws are tight-ened, the tubing string can be ma-nipulated above and below the pointof suspension, the blowout preventerscan be removed, and the Christmastree can be installed.

The CF-02 Spool or Christmas treeis screwed directly onto the CF-02Hanger while the hanger and tubingstring remain stationary.

C-H BACK PRESSURE VALVES AND PLUGS

The C-H Back Pressure Valve is a one-waycheck valve used to seal tubing pressure to20,000 psi while the blowout pre venters areremoved and the Christmas trees is installed. Italso permits fluid to be circulated down the tubingand prevents back flow.

The C-H Two-way check Valve is installed in thetubing hanger to allow the Christmas tree to betested to 15,000 psi. The two-way check valveallows pressure to be equalized above and belowthe seal, ensuring safe removal from the tubinghanger.

The shallow threads on the C-H Back PressureValve and C-H Two-way Check valve providestrength, allowing the valves to withstand ex-tremely high pressure without significantly reduc-ing the tubing hanger bore size.

BW HANDWHEEL OPERATED GATE VALVES

The “BW” gate valve is API approved for severeservices such as choke-and-kill manifolds andChristmas trees. By applying the newesttechnology in the most critical area, the sealingsurfaces of the gate and seats, Flocon engineershave gained many advantages over other gatevalve designs.

1. Hard-faced, alloy steel gate. The gate facing hasa high resistance to wear and corrosion. It alsoreduces friction between the gate and seats, soless effort is required to open and close thevalve.

2. Solid tungsten carbide seats. These seats alsoare highly resistant to wear and corrosion, withlonger life expectancy than seats made of othermaterials.

3. Holds pressure from either direction. Linepressure forces the gate against the downstreamseat for a positive seal from either side.Therefore, the valve can be mounted facingeither way in your line.

4. Venting prevents valve damage. the body cavityis vented to the valve’s upstream side. Sincethere is no danger of a pressure lock . . nochance of trapped fluids damaging the valve dueto heat expansion.

5. Stress on the stem is minimal. Once the gate isclosed, no further tightening or wedging isrequired for a positive seal. This reduces thehazard of stress corrosion cracking the stem.

6. Gate guides keep body cavity clear. Metal guidesrun the full length of the gate’s travel.

A new approach to dependablesealing, long life, corrosionresistance and easy operation.

7.Alloy steel valve body is heat-treated to NACEspecifications.

8. Easy opening and closing. The combination ofhard facing on the gate, Teflon® lining in thestem packing and needle thrust bearingsreduces the effort required to turn thehandwheel.

9. U-type stem packing is Teflon® lined. Reducedfriction between the packing and stem duringvalve opening and closing prolongs packing life.10. Packing can be replaced with pressure in theline. The operating stem backseats, so allpacking can be changed under pressure, ifnecessary.

11. Maintenance is simple. The gate, gate guidesand seats can be replaced without removing thevalve body from the line. They do not require aselective fit, and no special tools are needed.

12. Bonnet seal is a metal gasket in 5,000 psivalves. A BX-type ring gasket is used in 10,000and 15,000 psi valves.

13. Interchangeable with API gate valves. “BW”valves can be substituted for other gate valves ofcomparable size and pressure rating in existingmanifolds and Christmas trees.

14. Selection. Flocon’s Type “BW” gate valves areavailable in pressure ratings to 15,000 psi, in afull array of trims, with manual or hydraulicoperators. High temperature models (manualonly) are available.

Recommended operative procedure is:

Features:1 The hydraulic valve is available with a manual

closing and locking screw.

2 The adjusting nut in the blind cylinder headabsorbs the overload or test pressures appliedto the opening side of the valve, preventing thepressure from reaching the stem.

3 The cylinder head to allow the piston to coverthe exhaust port before the end of the stroke.This arrangement provides enough damping toprotect the valve from shock loading.

4 The overload or test pressures applied to theclosing side of the cylinder are absorbed by thepiston bottoming out against the packing glandof the stem.

5 The tail rod and the operating stem havebackseating shoulders to allow changing thestem packing while the valve is under pressure.

6 Cylinder-operated valves have a special bodycontaining a stuffing box through which a tail rodpasses from the gate. The tail rod serves thefollowing purposes:

❑ Acts as a pressure balance for the stemwhich connects the gate to the operatingpiston.

❑ Compensates for the volume displaced bythe operating stem.

The SSV is an automatic wellhead valve whichshuts off the flowstream upon loss of supplypressure. To perform this function, according to14-D, and API specifications, the SSV must beassembled as the second valve in the wellheadflowstream.

FULL BORE DIVERTER VALVES

Full Bore Diverter ValveSince the early days of offshore drilling,

contractors have used almost every type ofvalve for diverter service. This included ballvalves, butterfly valves, and etc. Some haveused large bore ANSI pipeline valves. None ofthese valves have proven successful.

Control Flow now introduces a valvedesigned for diverter service. This valve designis field proven in mud and pressure controlapplications.

The valve has API diameter full bores. Sizesavailable are 9", 11" and 13 5/8" API flangedends at working pressures to 3000 PSI.

TYPE DW-10 SUBSEA VALVE

The Control Flow DW-10 gate valve is acompact design especially suited for the harshservice requirements of subsea choke and killlines in water depths up to 13,000 feet. DW-10valves are available in a variety of sizes, trims,and pressure ranges up to 15,000 psi. The DW-10 features a balanced stem design whichprevents fluid displacement in the valve bodyduring opening and closing along with bi-directional sealing. These features prevent thevalve from opening when line pressure is lessthan sea pressure, and allow several valves tobe placed together in the same block or linewithout the possibility of pressure lock betweenthe valves. As with all Control Flow slab stylegate valves, metal to metal sealing ensuresreliability under extreme conditions and seatsare especially designed to prevent bodyerosion.

The DW-10 valve is easily maintained andfeatures a detachable actuator completelyseparate from the valve body, bonnet, stem, andpacking thereby maintaining the integrity of thevalve even with the actuator removed. Typicallythe operating pressure of the actuator cylinderis 1500 psi, however a maximum pressurerating of 3000 psi can be applied under certaincircumstances. All DW-10 subsea valves can beeasily converted to an R.O.V. override.

FloCheck™ is a one-way drop type check valveespecially designed to help you save onmaintenance and valve replacement costs. It is fullyrepairable in-line and features an exclusive seatdesign that virtually eliminates wear on the valvebody. NOTE: The seat can be resurfaced if wear isnot excessive.

Each FloCheck™ valve is carefullymanufactured, inspected and tested to ensure long,trouble-free service in the most demandingenvironmental conditions. 1. Hard-faced, alloy steel gate. The gate’s tung-sten carbide facing has a high resistance towear and corrosion. It also reduces frictionbetween the gate and seats, so less effort isrequired to open and close the valve.

2. Tungsten carbide hard-faced stainless steelseats. These seats also are highly resistantto wear and corrosion, with longer life expect-ancy than seats made of other materials.

3. Holds pressure from either direction. Line pres-sure forces the gate against the downstreamseat for a positive seal from either side. There-fore, the valve can be mounted facing eitherway in your line.

4. Venting prevents valve damage. The body cav-ity is vented to the valve’s upstream side.Since there is no danger of a pressure lock...no chance of trapped fluids damaging thevalve due to heat expansion.

5. Stress on the stem is minimal. Once the gateis closed, no further tightening or wedging isrequired for a positive seal. This reduces thehazard of stress corrosion cracking the stem.

6. Alloy steel valve body, bonnet and internal com-ponents are heat-treated to NACE specifications.The alloy steel body is produced from a weld-able grade of steel for butt-welding in line andmeets API requirements for flanged andhubbed connections.

7. Easy opening and closing. The combination ofhard facing on the gate and seat, Teflon® lin-ing in the stem seals and needle thrust bear-ings reduces the effort required to turn thehandwheel.

8. Lip-type stem packing I.D. is Teflon® lined. Re-ducing friction between the packing and stemduring valve opening and closing prolongspacking life.

9. The gate and seats can be replaced without re-moving the valve body from the line. They donot require a selective fit and no special toolsare needed.

10. All bonnet seals are metal RX-type ring gaskets.

11. Selection. Flocon’s Type “MW” mud valves areavailable in pressure ratings to 10,000 psi inflanged or hubbed configurations and 7,500 psifor butt-weld configuration. High temperaturemodels are available. For details contact theControl Flow office near you.

The “MW” mud valve has been developed for severe service mud and gas manifolds. By applying thenewest technology in the most critical area, the sealing surfaces of the gate, seat, and stem, Floconengineers have gained advantages over other mud valve designs.

The new “MW” mud valve provides dependablemetal to metal sealing, long life, corrosionresistance and low torque operation.

Operating Recommendations

Overtightening the type MW Gate Valve does not assist in affecting a seal.Jamming the gate may prevent the valve from sealing.

Recommended operating procedure is:

1. Opening the valve:Turn the handwheel counter-clockwise until the gate shoulders, then clockwise one quarter turn.

2. Closing the valve:Turn the handwheel clockwise until the gate shoulders in the bottom, then counter-clockwiseone quarter turn.

Pipe rams for Control Flow's "Class U" BOPs are available to fit a wide variety of tubing, drill pipe, drill collar and casingsizes. All rams are suitable for Sour Service - H

2S - per NACE MR-O1-75 specifications. The CFI "Class U" ram packers are

self-feeding with a large reserve of elastomer to ensure a long-lasting seal under all conditions. Ram packers lock intoplace and cannot be dislodged by the well flow.

A positive seal every time. Control Flow’s DRH (Dual RamHydraulic) or SRH (Single Ram Hydraulic) models let you shutin a well in seconds from a control panel located at the driller’sstation or any other place you choose. There’s no waiting forrig hands to get to the cellar and manually close the rams.The trouble-free, efficient design of these 5,000-psi-working-pressure BOPs has been field-proven in many years of ruggedservice.

Double protection. Install pipe rams in one compartment of aDRH and blind rams in the other and you can shut in the wellwhether there’s pipe in the hole or not. Each set of ramsoperates independently of the other.

Automatic pipe string alignment. As rams close, guides onthe ram blocks automatically center the pipe string in thewellbore, even if the string is hanging off center.

Positive pressure control. One-piece ram rubbers seal acrossthe wellbore and against the top of the ram cavity. Retractingscrews allow ram blocks to move slightly in their holders toensure positive alignment as sealing contact occurs.

Extrusion plates channel rubber flow toward sealing sur-faces as rams meet. Each rubber is secured to its ram blockby two retaining screws, which fit into trunnion nuts extendingthrough the extrusion plates molded into the rubber. Thiskeeps the rubber in proper sealing position, even underextreme pressure.

Well pressure assists sealing. When rams are closed,pressure in the wellbore pushes them upward and inward,squeezing the ram rubbers more tightly against the sealingsurfaces.

Any standard 1,500-psi accumulator will operate yourControl Flow BOP. Rams can also be opened and closed witha hand pump, if necessary.

Rams can be locked in their closed position by manuallyturning each locking shaft clockwise until it shoulders againstthe cylinder head.

Rig crew can close rams manually with the locking shafts ifhydraulic pressure should fail. Closed rams can be openedonly by hydraulic pressure.

Locking shafts can’t corrode or freeze up because theexposed portions of their threads are constantly immersed inhydraulic fluid.

Each ram and its operating mechanism is completely self-contained. Ram, ram shaft, piston and cylinder are allmounted on a hinged door, which can be swung open after thecap screws are removed.

Swing-open doors simplify ram changing. Rams can evenbe changed with pipe in the hole, if necessary. Bottom doorsswing out from under the upper cylinders on DRH models,allowing a hoisting line to be attached directly to the rams,which slide on and off their shafts horizontally.

Hydraulic passages are built into the hinges, so doors canbe opened without draining fluid or breaking hydraulicconnections. Since the hydraulic circuits are unbroken, ramscan be extended and retracted while the doors are open tofacilitate ram changing and testing.

Hydraulic control lines connect to ports in the hinge brack-ets at whichever end of the BOP is the most convenient for thehookup. Fluid flows to the opposite end through manifolds onthe outside of the body. Pipe plugs seal the unused ports.

Simple, trouble-free design. There’s just a single piston,made from stainless steel and manganese bronze, for eachram. This piston is completely enclosed and protected by thecylinder. Control Flow’s piston seals are the large lip-typemade for use on moving parts — not O-rings.

Ram shaft packing protects operating mechanism fromwellbore pressure and contamination by wellbore fluid.

Self-draining ram compartments. The bottom of each ramcompartment slopes toward the wellbore to drain away mudand sand that could interfere with free movement of the rams.

Free-floating rams prolong rubber life. When rams are open,they rest on narrow guide ribs and touch no other part of theram cavity. Ram rubbers have no contact with the top of thecavity until the rams are nearly closed, which greatly reducesrubber wear.

Interchangeable ram blocks. Ram blocks for various sizes ofdrill pipe, tubing and casing, and for complete shut-off of thewellbore, can be interchanged in the same ram holder.

High-strength alloy steel is used for ram blocks, ram holders,cylinder heads, doors and the deep-ribbed body. Ram shaftsare stainless steel.

Dual ram model’s double body configuration saves installa-tion space. Two ram compartments in one unitized bodyoffers a lower overall height than two single preventersinstalled one above the other.

Choice of studded or flanged connections lets you matchyour DRH or SRH to the other components of your BOP stack.(Studded connections shown.)

Body is produced from high quality static-cast, sand moldedcasting using a process called “Argon Oxygen Refining” whichallows cleaner metal, with low residual oxygen, nitrogen, andhydrogen.Ram Cavity bottoms are steeply sloped to prevent accumula-tion of sand or drilling fluids.Single or Double Body configurations are available with2,000 psi or 3,000 psi or combination of both studded top andbottom connections.

Well Pressure Seals are located in a cartridge between thebody and pressure bonnet for ease of installation or replace-ment. This assures positive alignment between the body andbonnet assembly.Ram Assembly combines toughness and a generous supplyof self-feeding packing.Ram Blocks can be changed with pipe in the hole.

All “TROJAN” BOP assemblies are trimmed for internal H2Sservice. This feature is standard at no extra cost.

“TROJAN” Hydraulic Blowout Preventer

Features:• Hydraulic fluid passages are ported through the body, eliminating the need for external piping.

• Ram position can be positively determined visually. Slots are provided in both the cylinderhead and the M.O.R. protective cover.

• The bi-directional piston seal eliminates thepossibility of improper installation.

• The Hydraulic “TROJAN” is designed to beoperated with any oil field accumulator system.Less than 1,000 psi will close the BOP withfull working pressure in the bore. Themaximum hydraulic operating pressure is 2,500.

• The hydraulic lines are not disconnected duringram change. This feature eliminates the possibilityof hydraulic fluid contamination.

• All maintenance can be donewith standard tools. Nospecial tools are required.

• A weep hole is provided betweenwellbore ram shaft packing and thehydraulic seal. This feature eliminates thepossibility of hydraulic fluid contamination should the ram shaft packing fail.

• Manifold protectors are threaded into the body to protect against damage to the manifold ports.

• Lifting plates are provided for ease of handling.

• A bolt-on hydraulic manifold block is provided so the BOP body is not affected should damage arise to thethreaded connections for the accumulator units’ operating lines.

• The hydraulic “TROJAN” can be converted to the mechanical version.

Flocon IBOPThe proven inside preventer.Simple, dependable and effective, the FloconIBOP is your first line of defense against mostinside blowout hazards. By preventing high pres-sure backflow through the drill string, the FloconIBOP helps protect your crew, the swivel, stand-pipe and pumps, while drilling or tripping, whenseconds count!

Flocon’s IBOP can be run downhole, right throughall conventional BOP stacks. What’s more, it canbe left in-line and run as deep as necessary whilepermitting drilling fluids to flow freely down thestem. Unlike downhole preventers, you don’t haveto trip the whole string to install, inspect or re-move Flocon’s IBOP.

A lift beam transfers riseror casing to the piperacker skate and track which thendelivers the riser or casing to the rig floor to be handledby the elevator and drawworks and then mechanicallystabbed over the well bore. Pipemaster ® Offshore Riserand Casing Bridge Crane

For use in conjunction with the Pipemaster® offshorepiperacker, the swing crane handles riser and casingfrom below-deck hold space for drillship operations. Abelow-deck crane moves riser or casing to a pick-upstation; lift beam is attached to the riser or casing whichis raised to the swing crane; the swing crane places theriser or casing on the piperacker skate and track fordelivery to the rig floor. Pipemaster® Pipe Tensioners are track-type tensionsystems capable of holding back on the pipeline, usingessentially constant tension characteristics. PipeTensioners absorb the curvature of the pipeline andaccommodate nominal changes in coating diameter.Available drives include electrohydraulic or diesel-hydraulic power units. Control is by solid state integratedelectronic circuitry with independent, identical electronicor hydraulic backup control. All parameters in the speed/tension curve are adjustable by easily accessible knobson the control console.

Single Pipemaster® Pipe Tensioners can be arrangedin multiple tandem units to obtain higher tension whenrequired. Welding or other work stations may be locatedbetween tandem units depending on barge installation.Pipe Tensioners can be supplied for locating on port orstarboard ramp as well as for barge center slot operation.

The Pipemaster® Abandonment and Recovery Winch Systems are designed forincreased control during lowering of pipe for abandonment from lay barge to seabottom. Controls and power supply integrate with Pipemaster® Pipe Tensionersystems for smooth load transfer of the highly tensioned pipeline from one systemto the other. Load transfer is accomplished in automatic tension mode,compensating for barge and pipe movement induced by heavy seas. Thissynchronized transfer can be accomplished in about fifteen seconds, theapproximate period of a single wave, under full control of the operator. Systemredundancy is designed into the Pipemaster® Abandonment and Recovery WinchSystem providing for complete control backup.

Abandoment and Recovery/Land Piperacker

Based on the highly successful design of the offshorepiperacker, WesTech/HMD’s Pipemaster® Land Piperackeris, similarly, remotely operated for positive mechanicalcontrol of drill pipe and casing. This system incorporates aunique elevator to raise pipe from the horizontal racks toramp arms where transverse rollers position the pipelongitudinally and indexers control the movement of thepipe to the skate. The Pipemaster® Land Piperacker movesdrill pipe and casing semi-automatically from the rackingarea to and from the rig floor for drilling and “laydown”operations. The system can be housed in an enclosure forwork in the arctic, or skid mounted between standard piperacks and supplied without elevating mechanism for usein less hostile climates.

1. General: No orders shall be considered as accepted by CON-TROL FLOW INC., AND FLOCON PRODUCTS, INC. until ap-proved at our office in Houston, Texas. These terms and condi-tions apply to all sales made by us. Any purchase order receivedby CONTROL FLOW INC., AND FLOCON PRODUCTS, INC. shallbe construed as a written acceptance of all of our terms and con-ditions of sale. Unless specifically accepted in writing, no otherterms and conditions shall apply. Additional information, specifi-cations, and recommendations may be obtained by writing us atour Houston office.

2. Terms of Payment: Our domestic terms are net 30 days af-ter shipment or offer to ship if delayed by customer’s request. Ex-port terms require a confirmed irrevocable letter of credit openedthrough a prime U.S. Bank, unless otherwise specified. Boxing,cartage, freight, insurance, handling, labor, rental and similar ex-penses are net cash upon receipt of invoice.

3. Guarantee: We warrant all products of our manufacture to befree from defects and against failure due to workmanship or mate-rials for a period of one year but no longer from date of invoice:provided, however, that our liability under said warranty shall beand the same hereby is expressly limited to repairing or furnishingfor replacement, free of charge, FOB our factory, any part of anysuch product that proves to be defective in workmanship or mate-rial under normal use and operation, and provided further thanwritten notice of such defect or failure is given to us within thirtydays from the occurrence thereof and such part is returned to usat our factory, carrying charges prepaid, within the said one yearperiod of warranty; provided, further that with respect to any partsnot wholly of our manufacture this warranty is limited in extent tothe warranty, if any, which we may have received with respectthereto from the manufacturers of any such parts and to the ac-tual extent that we are able to enforce it.

Except as above set forth, there shall be no other warranty offitness or merchantability or other warranty or liability whetherexpressed orally or in writing, or implied in fact or imposedby statute , and in no event shall we or our agents or employeesbe liable for injury or damage to any person or property whatso-ever or for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential dam-age of any nature however arising.

4. Delivery: We endeavor to ship all materials within the timepromised by us, but do not guarantee to do so. No claims for dam-ages or delays due to failure to deliver will be allowed unless awritten agreement between both parties specifically allows forclaims against later delivery. All agreements are subject to delayscaused by strikes, lockouts, accidents, fire or other casualty, actsof God, war, insurrection, the elements, shortage of raw materialsand labor, governmental orders, or restrictions and any circum-stances beyond our control. Our responsibility ceases upon deliv-ery to any common carrier. We do not insure shipments beyondthe point of delivery to a carrier unless previously instructed bypurchase order. All materials for export are packed to the best ofour ability so that they will not be damaged, rust or deteriorate intransit but we do not guarantee against such damage.

5. Insurance: We will place insurance as nearly as possible inaccordance with the written instructions of our customers, but weassume no liability for the placing of such insurance or as to theultimate recovery in case of breakage, damage or loss.

6. Consular Invoices: No consular fees for legalizing invoices,stamping bills of lading, or other documents required by the lawsof any country or destination are included in quotations or sellingprices unless specified. If instructed in writing, we will take outconsular documents and make declarations as Agent of the pur-chaser, but assume no responsibility for any fines or other chargesimposed due to errors or incorrect declarations.

7 Change of design: We expressly reserve the right to changeor modify the design and construction of any product, in due courseof our manufacturing procedure, without incurring any obligationor liability to furnish or install such changes, modifications or im-provements on products previously or subsequently sold.

8. Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice. Our mini-mum charge per invoice is $50.00 U.S. Cost of export boxing andpreparation is based on 3% of total list price or minimum chargeat current market price.

9 Quotations: Requests for quotations should be sent to CON-TROL FLOW INC.., AND FLOCON PRODUCTS, INC., P.O. Box40788, Houston, Texas 77420, U.S.A. All quotations and sales areex-works, point of manufacture unless stated otherwise. Unlessotherwise agreed in writing, quotations are valid for 30 days fromdate of quotation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, loading, light-erage, wharfage, freight, landing charges, dues, duties or any othercharges are not included in quotations or indicated by any pricelist. All taxes are required by law on a sale will be added to the netsales price. All prices and discounts, now in effect, or hereafterissued, are subject to change without notice.

10. Cancellations: When an order has been accepted by CON-TROL FLOW INC., AND FLOCON PRODUCTS, INC., it may notbe cancelled without our written permission. Cancellation termswill include compensation, as necessary, to us for expenses in-curred after such an order has been accepted. Orders for prod-ucts or parts of special design size or materials are not subject tocancellations after we have accepted order. Orders cancelled dueto United States Department of Commerce not granting an exportlicense are subject to cancellation charge.

11. Returns: Written permission must be obtained before return-ing material to us for credit. When written permission is acquired,shipment must be returned to location as specified via prepaidfreight. Material will be subject to our inspection before credit canbe issued. A restocking charge will be made on all orders returnedfor credit, or costs that may be necessary to return material tosalable condition. No material will be accepted for credit one yearfrom date of purchase. Products of special design or equipmentaltered to fit customer’s specifications will not be accepted for credit.

12. Compliance with Statues & Regulations: CONTROL FLOWINC., AND FLOCON PRODUCTS, INC. warrants and certifies thatin performing this order it will comply with all applicable statutes,rules, regulations and orders of the United States and of any stateor political subdivision thereof including laws and regulations per-taining to labor, wages, hours, equal opportunity (Executive Order11246) and other conditions of employment, applicable price ceil-ings, if any, and that the articles delivered hereunder shall be pro-duced in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
