CONFEBASK: Basque Business ConfederationThe Basque Business Confederation (Confebask) is the organisation which represents and defends the general and common interests of Basque businesses, and which speaks for them to the authorities, trades unions, professional bodies and public of the Basque Country.
Set up in March 1983, Confebask's main purposes are to encourage private initiative and free enterprise, to encourage Basque firms to be competitive and to aid the social and economic development of the Basque Country.
Membership of Confebask is voluntary, and the confederation now represents over 13,000 private companies from all sectors. It is a full member of the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations).

The panel
Mainly small and medium firms, representing different sectors. 99% of the Spanish companies are SMEs
Most of the companies that responded to the questionnaire represented the industrial sector, pertaining mainly to the manufacture of metals (35.9%), or mechanical engineering (21.8%) and construction (14.1%), services sector (5.1%) and from the information technology sector (3.8%).

Necessity of well trained leaders in the companies to face the crisis

If we make the effort of investigate this same topics in a few years, we could see the evolution of this problems.
