Despite being small enough to be placed on a desktop, the Canon iR C1028iF is packed with a range of powerfully productive features, allowing documents to be scanned, searched and sent to multiple addresses at the touch of a button.

The improved features smoothly integrate with enterprise-level requirements, including embedded support for uniFLOW (a platform application which helps control printing costs), enhanced security for wireless network, LDAP address book support, User Authentication for Send Operation, support for PostScript 3 and letter/A4 auto paper override.

User authentication for Send operation is a new feature that secures the flow of electronic information in your business. It ensures all emails sent through this system are assigned to an official email address, and documents cannot be sent from the device without a username and password for added security.

IEEE802.1 x network security protocol utilises an authentication server to prevent unauthorised users from accessing the wireless local area network (WLAN) and causing damage.
