NCL: Network Convergence Laboratory

VoIP Asterix server (not integrated into GoogleTalk for global coverage, but possible if time allows)

IPTV (Freeview)

Video stream server and video streamed features Apple Darwin video stream server 5.5.4 for Linux

Video encoded withH264/AVC with the x264 codec.

Support rtsp protocol for video streaming.

Native support for H.264, MPEG-4, Dirac and 3GPP

HD video streaming achieved with 1080p, 720p, and other sizes: 960 x 544, 720 x 576.

The video clients can be VLC and QuickTime.

Test-bed for ambient intelligent and pervasive computing in a

domestic setting (Full sized 2 bedroom apartment)
