Converting ft/sec to m/hr

First you have to know a measured Distance.

• In this case we are using 100 feet.• We make a fraction that looks like this:• 100/time in seconds. Ex. 100/2.3• We then work the math and come up with a

number like this: 43.47• Then we multiply that number by .6818• This gives us the speed of 29.64 m/hr

• So this is the formula:

• m/h= distance (in feet)/time (in seconds) x .6818
