directly on the app, and pickup their order from your home.

I love mycook!

That’s right: You set your own menu, days you want to cook, and the price of your dishes. In fact, you can plan your menu months in advance via the dish management calendar tool. When potential diners search for homemade meals on the DishDivvy app, they can find your uploaded and scheduled dishes, and are even able to filter dishes based on distance, dietary preference, ratings, and cuisine-type.

Cook, Share, & Get OrdersOn your scheduled cook days, you may have previously-placed ‘pre-orders’ for your dishes, and/or same-day orders which come in the day-of. You will be emailed all of your orders for the day in advance, and will know the pickup times (within a 15 minute window) for each customer. Then, all you need to do is portion the dishes out per order, and walk them to the customers waiting at your curbside at the designated pickup time. That’s it!

Be Loved by your CommunityYour food will bring lots of joy into your local community, and customers love to show their appreciation through their reviews. Dish ratings help cooks, and DishDivvy, make the user experience more and more special, by improving our processes and interactions. Dishes & PortionsDishDivvy is focused on delivering an authentic homemade meal

experience for every user on our platform. One way we’re implementing this is by providing standardized portions, that are super generous, just

like granny would serve, no matter how much you refused it!

All DishDivvy dishes are based on the unit serving size of ‘Single Portions’. As one of our Approved HomeCooks, you will be able to designate the ‘inventory capacity’ you have available for each dish on each cook day. Once your capacity is sold out, customers will not be able to order more of that dish, and a ‘Sold Out’ tag will be overlayed on that item in the App.

We encourage all cooks to make every one of their dish experiences just a little more special to their diners by including a small ‘surprise’ with each order. This “Fortune Goodie” can be a tiny tasting slice of your famous homemade cherry pie or a small scoop of one of your popular side dishes. This is also a great way to sample your other dishes and recipes to your eager fanbase. How much can I earn with DishDivvy?Your potential for earnings on the DishDivvy platform is directly related to how much you want to work/cook, and how efficient you are in your home cooking operations. This being said, our cooks have estimated they earn an average of $25-$40/hour, in net profits, when cooking with DishDivvy. We provide training & knowledgebase articles to help educate you on various tips & techniques, such as effective dish pricing, in order to help improve your net earnings.

What do I need to setup to start receiving payments?All payouts are done through direct deposit into your bank checking account, which is setup through Stripe, our secure 3rd-party payment gateway.

You will be able to access a history of your earnings when you log into your cook management app, so that you can track payouts for every order your receive on DishDivvy!

What are DishDivvy’s service fees?DishDivvy charges a flat 15% service fee on the subtotal amount (before tax and other fees) on every order transaction. This service fee is automatically deducted from the payout to the cooks. Therefore, cooks earn 85% of the gross revenue on each order subtotal. The DishDivvy service fee of 15% covers expenses such as managing the app and technology, marketing the cooks and dishes, providing customer support, and all other operational tasks required to successfully run the platform.

Is there a fee associated with joining DishDivvy?Absolutely not! There is no fee required to set up your cook account and start posting your dishes on our platform.

What is your cook vetting process?At DishDivvy we strive to create memorable and positive food experiences for all of our users. Every HomeCook must provide proof of food safety training by submitting a copy of a current Food Handler Card from an ANSI accredited institution for the specific state they will be operating in. Every cook is verified by one of our Cook Support Team members and goes through a multi-step vetting processes, which includes an on-site kitchen inspection, face-to-face interview, and a sample taste test. At DishDivvy, we are committed to doing things responsibly, and most importantly, safely.

What is a Food Handler Card and why do I need one?If you prepare, store or serve food, you must obtain Food Handler Card within 30 days of starting your operation. If you already have a “Food Protection Manager Certification”, you don’t need a California Food Handler Card. An up to date copy of your Food Handler Card or other qualifying certifications must be uploaded to DishDivvy for accurate and current record keeping purposes.

How do I receive an order for my dishes?Customers can view available dishes and cooks near their location when they input their address on the DishDivvy App. Customers then select the dish of their choice, and select portion size, pickup or delivery time, and include any special options or notes they would like the cook to be informed about regarding that dish. Once the order is paid for on the app, the HomeCook receives the order details via email, and also via their cook management app. When customers (or delivery drivers) arrive to the HomeCook’s home, a notification is sent to the HomeCook to bring the food out to the customer at curbside. It’s really that easy!

Who decided what I should cook or when?Your cook schedule is always up to you! You cook what you want, when you want, and what price you want to offer it at. This is your micro-enterprise operation. DishDivvy merely provides the software and interface to facilitate transactions between Approved HomeCooks and Hungry Neighbors!

4 In-Home Kitchen InspectionThis is our favorite part of the process... meeting our fabulous & talented cooks in-person! You will receive a copy of the DishDivvy "Inspection Checklist" so that you can be prepared and informed about the process prior to the appointment. The on-site kitchen visit takes about 45 minutes to complete, which includes a mini photoshoot of the dishes you have prepared for that day!

Upload required documentsIn order to cook with DishDivvy, cooks must upload proof of required documentation, such as a certified Food Handler Card, government-issued ID card, and complete required government tax forms.
