26 February we went to Granada. Granada is a beautiful city in the South of Spain.

In Granada we visited the Alhambra. The Alhambra is a Muslim Palace. It is very big and it has a lot of gardens.

Another day we went to Sierra Nevada. In Sierra Nevada we skied, played with the snow and made a snowman.

We think this travel was very funny but it was too cold.

We play basketball and we like it very much.

We play in a team. We are the third in the

classification . Rafa plays a s a “guard” and

Víctor as the “base”. Every Friday we play

basket for six hours. We love basketball.

Raúl, Miguel and Juan practice canoeing from an early age. This sport is great for burning fat.

Canoeing is an outdoor activity that involves a spe-cial kind of canoe ot kajak.

We practice it in the river. It is very funny.

Hey boys, is there anybody alive there????

One of my hobbies is football, and now, I’m going to tell you some rules about this sport although I think that everybody knows it.

Eleven players play on a grass field, the team getting more goals wins the game.

The most important teams are : Real Madrid, Barcelona , Manchester United ,

Liverpool, Juventus, Inter di Milano and Bayern München.....

Most important players in history are: Di Stefano, Maradona, Johan Cruyff, Pele,

Zidane and .... Boniek:

On 28 February, Andalucias’ Day we celebrate in our High

School a Karaoke Contest. Many students participate in this

contest. We like this day and we enjoy a lot. Angustias, our

classmate participated in it and she won the second price.

She was very happy. She sang a song of a Spanish singer:

Malú called “Aprendiz”.

I’m going to talk about the new book we’re reading.

It’s a very famous poetry book called “Platero y

yo” (Platero and I).

I think you’ll be very stranged with the title. Well, I

explain you : this book is a very successful book of

the last century, written by Juan Ramón Jiménez, a

writer of our province, Huelva. Platero is the main

character of the book, it is a very beautiful donkey.

The author tells you all of his experiences with

Platero in his home town, Moguer.

I think it’s a very good book to read, but sometimes

it is very sad. I can’t tell you why so, read it!

Ingredients 4 eggs

4 potatoes

1 onion

Olive oil

Salt

1. Cut the onion and the potatoes into

slices.

2. Fry them in hot oil.

3. Beat the eggs and add the onion

and the potatoes and add salt.

4. Put everything in the pan until it is

cooked.

5. Turn the omelet over.

6. Serve hot.

SPANISH OMELETTE

My name is Hannah. I have two dogs and a cat. Their names are Lindo, Urcos and the cat’s name is Lú.

Urcas is a small dog, it is a Border Collie, and her fur is black and white. Lindo is a big dog, it is a brown Doberman, and it is four years old. Lú is a happy cat, with orange fur and green eyes. They are also very beautiful animals and they have a very comfortable life in my house.

The dogs sometimes bark and they annoy , but they are always kind. I love playing with them and going to the park. They are the best in the world.

I have a canary, it is orange and white, it eats bird seed, but also eats lettuce and apple. . It sings much, in the morning and in the afternoon.

In the class we have some musicians. Emilia and Han-nah play the piano,Paloma and Angu sings and Julio, Marina and me have a group.The name of the group is “Twice a Week”. I play the electric guitar, Julio plays the bass and Marina plays the drums. We have 3 songs and we play in 2 concerts. The next concert is coming soon and we hope that we play well. This is our 2nd
