The traditional finish of stainless steel featured on

several tall fridge-freezer combinations and full fridge

and full upright freezer, is enhanced by long

loop-style handles and grey side panels .

The AEG range also includes a side-by-side fridge-

freezer combination with and without icemaker.

For advanced cooling technology that blends perfectly

with the striking aesthetics of today’s kitchens, it has

AEG Showroom

AEG has opened its state-of-the-

art new showroom in Linbro Park,

Johannesburg. The minimalist

design of the studio-like

showroom was a team effort by

the AEG sales and marketing

staff. The objective was to

showcase AEG’s ultra-modern

appliances in an uncluttered,

easy-on-the-eye environment.

Design elements include beautiful

Swedish and Venetian crystal and

the AEG brand values such as

strength, performance, precision,

order and simplicity are reflected

as pictures on the walls.

A full range of over 80 products

is on display, including built-in

ovens, hobs, extractors, tumble

dryers, washing machines and

dishwashers.

Holding company, Electrolux SA,

has its Electrolux Training

Academy, featuring a working

kitchen and expert training

facilities, adjacent to the

AEG showroom.

For someone intending to set up

a new home or refurbish a

kitchen, the new AEG showroom

is well worth visiting. Not only

will you be able to view

technologically superior and

aesthetically appealing products

but you will also receive expert

advice.

3, Galaxy Park, Galaxy Avenue,

The COOLMATIC and fast chill

function in the refrigerator is

particularly useful for the safe

storage of pre-cooked chilled

foods. It is also convenient when

you want to chill salads or drinks

quickly for a party.

External digital LED and LCD

displays give clear reassurance

that the correct storage

temperature is being maintained,

and are further complemented

by visible and audible warnings

if the door has been left open or

the temperature inside the

cabinet starts to rise.

The FROSTMATIC and fast freeze

function allows you to freeze

down fresh food quickly without

raising the temperature of other

frozen foods.

FROSTMATIC automatically

switch off after a set period and

the compartment returns to the

pre-set temperatures.

The Holiday setting allows you to

empty the fridge when you go

away but still keep the freezer

compartment running. This special

setting prevents the formation of

odours and mould in the empty

fridge compartment even though

the door is closed, maintaining the

internal temperature at an

economical 15¡C.

Electronic temperature regulation

is complemented by easy-to-use

external push-button controls

while optimised air circulation

ensures that a precise even

temperature is always maintained

within the cabinet. This avoids

an unwanted rise in temperature

when large loads of food are

being stored.

Frost-free technology ensures that

no defrosting will ever be required.

Easier and quicker to clean as no

defrosting is necessary; saves time

and hard work.

The integral charcoal filter on

the Santo 72348 KG keeps the

cabinet fresh and free of odours,

so you won’t need to worry about

flavours being transferred from

one item to another.

By recording and memorising

door openings, the mastermind

electronic cool, on the side by

side fridge-freezers, is able to

learn the times of the day you

use your refrigerator most and

automatically provides additional

cooling capacity during those

peak times, resulting in foods

remaining fresher for longer.

1. Electrolux Major Appliances guarantees the equipment against

defective material or faulty manufacture, provided it is used for

domestic purposes only, for a period of 5 years on ovens (excluding

microwaves and gas/electric cookers), hobs and extractors (effective

1 April 2004) and 3 years on all other appliances, from the date

of purchase by the original purchaser. This guarantee only applies

to AEG large appliances.

2. Where the appliance is used or installed more than 50 kilometres

from the nearest Electrolux Major Appliances Service Agent, travel

costs to the place of use or installation shall be for the account

of the purchaser.

3. This guarantee is given on condition that only genuine AEG parts

and accessories are at all times used in the appliance and that an

authorized AEG service agent services the appliance.

4. Electrolux Major Appliances shall not be responsible for damage

of any kind resulting from electricity fluctuations, faults in the

building wiring, faulty installations, and improper use of controls

or failure to use the appliance in accordance with the operating

instructions and/or general misuse and/or abuse. Any attempt by

an unauthorised person to repair or tamper with the equipment

shall render this guarantee null and void.

5. This guarantee does not apply to light bulbs, loose glass, glass oven

doors and enamelled surfaces or do dust bags, filters and other

parts subject to wear and tear.

6. Electrolux Major Appliances shall not be responsible in terms of

this guarantee for the replacement or repair of any part of the

equipment, which may have been damaged in transit.

7. All gas appliances are to be fitted by a certified gas installer or

the guarantee will be null and void.

8. Repairs carried out under guarantee do not extend the guarantee

period for the appliance. Parts removed during guarantee repairs

become the property of Electrolux Major Appliances.

9. This guarantee shall be available only to an original purchaser of

AEG domestic appliances from an authorized AEG Dealer or

Distributor in and where the appliance has been retained for use

in the Republic of South Africa.

10. Failure to produce documentary proof of the date or original

acquisition by the original purchaser will result in normal charges

being levied for the work carried out and the parts supplied.

11. The liability of Electrolux Major Appliances under this guarantee

is limited to the replacement and/or repair of the defective parts

within the guarantee period and does not extend to be installation

or removal of the appliance. Furthermore, Electrolux Major

Appliances does not accept responsibility or liability to compensate

for any consequential loss or damage or any kind caused by or

due to the failure of operation or malfunction of any equipment

to which this guarantee applies.
