The Greece Central School District is comprised of 16 schools strategically located throughout the Town of Greece as well as number of support buildings. The goal of the District is toprovide facilities in compliance with applicable codes and regulations and to provide schoolsthat have been carefully planned and constructed to foster student learning. This has beenand is being accomplished through a program of well-planned renovation and reconstructionprojects and a proficiently-managed maintenance program.

The most recent Five-Year Capital Facilities Plan (Building Condition Survey) was prepared by Clark Patterson Associates, Design Professionals in 2010 and was based on interviewswith District personnel, a survey of all District facilities, and a review of the followingdocumentation:

A conceptual scope of work was identified for each project item and cost estimates were prepared. Each item was carefully reviewed and prioritized by District staff. The prioritysystem Type A, B, or C was developed with A being the highest priority. The District iscurrently involved in a three-year reconstruction project with a total project cost of $34.5 million.This project was approved by public referendum in December of 2011. All “A” designated projects will be addressed in this project in construction years 2013, 2014 and 2015 asdesignated.

Arcadia High School is a high school, grades 9 through 12, with approximately 1,109 students. In general, the overall condition of this school is good. The goals for this facility focus on the following:
