Personal Reflection Exercises...I drink plenty of water to keep my body healthy.

I drink plenty of water to keep mybody healthy.

As soon as I rise each morning, I pour atall glass of water for myself to start theday. My goal is to drink at least eightglasses of water each day.

I drink a glass of water before everymeal to get one glass closer to mygoal and to help keep me from overeating.

Throughout the day, I take breaksspecifically to rehydrate my body.Drinking sufficient amounts of water isessential to my productivity. My body'slevel of energy is directly related tothe amount of water I drink.

Drinking water prevents me frombecoming lethargic and slow. The morewater I drink, the better my body feels,enabling me to be more efficient at mywork. If my body is healthy, I am able tofocus and give my best performance.

Making time to drink water is easyfor me because I understand thebenefits of water. I also understand theharmful effects of dehydration on mybody.

From my brain to my skin, every part ofmy body needs water. The more water Idrink, the better I feel. My skin is radiantand strong because I drink the amount ofwater my body needs each day.

When I go to a restaurant, I always orderwater because not only is water betterthan caffeinated beverages, but it couldalso save me an average of two hundreddollars each year in restaurant bills alone.

Today I choose to drink at least eightglasses of water. I embrace my goal with apositive attitude because drinking enoughwater is easy and beneficial.

I prepare nutritious meals.

I am passionate about taking care of myfamily. From fulfilling their greatest needsto catering to their smallest desires, it is myjoy to take care of my family. Teaching myfamily healthy eating habits is one of mygreatest responsibilities.

It takes time and effort to plan ahead andprepare nutritious meals for my family, butI am happily willing to spend the time ittakes to plan in advance, shop forgroceries, and cook healthy meals for myfamily. My family's health is worth thework.

Life has a fast pace, causing me tosometimes head to a drive-thru, ratherthan a grocery store. That was the past.Today, I am changing those habits.

I am taking control of my schedule and Iam designating time to spend onsomething as important as my family'snutrition.

I refrain from having junk food inmy home so it can't tempt me. Mykitchen is filled with fruits, vegetables, andfoods rich in vitamins. Whether as a side

dish or pureed and added into the food,each meal I prepare includes a serving offruit or vegetables.

On weeks where I anticipate beingpressed for time, I prepare meals oneweekend ahead and freeze them. Duringthe week, I then simply thaw out andwarm up the meal I prepared in advance.

Preparing meals can be a fun family affairwhere all the members can get involvedwhile learning about proper nutrition. Some of the best memories in life aremade spending time gathered aroundthe table together.

Today, I choose to research healthyrecipes and add them to my family's mealplan. I clear time in my schedule to devoteto our nutrition because it is important tome.

Personal Reflection Exercises...Laughter is my best medicine.

Laughter is my best medicine.

Some people say, "An apple a day keepsthe doctor away," but I find that a goodsense of humor and a hearty laugh everyday has even better benefits! I use humorto help keep me healthy and solve all sortsof challenges.

First and foremost, laughter relievesmy stress. When my mind is focused onsomething funny, I can't help but forgetmy worries, even if for a short time. Sincestress causes most health issues, dailylaughter keeps stress from building up tounhealthy levels.

A good belly laugh causes the mind toproduce endorphins that promote afeeling of well-being. The way I figure, themore endorphins I make, the better I feel! It's no secret that people with a goodsense of humor live happier,healthier, and longer lives.

When I am feeling down, I take a breakfrom my tasks to enjoy a funny movie orplay entertaining games. After having myfun, I feel rejuvenated and get back ontrack with what I need to do.

If I am involved in a tense situation withsomeone, I think of something funny tobreak the tension. It always works! Afterwe laugh, we're better able to settle ourdifferences amicably so we can find awin-win solution.

Laughter also helps me relax my mind. Itsends extra oxygen to the brain thataids in clarity, which is always a goodbenefit.

Today, I intend to find humor in myeveryday routines so I can rejuvenate mybody, mind, and spirit!

Personal Reflection Exercises...Living an active lifestyle keeps me healthy.

Living an active lifestyle keeps mehealthy.

My body is aging, but there are habits Ican form today to keep me young.Regardless of my current age, body type,and weight, I am well able to maintain ahealthy lifestyle because I owe it to myself.

Staying active shields my body fromdiseases and allows me to live life to thefullest. A high level of activity improvesmy overall physical and emotional healthby increasing my body's naturalproduction of endorphins. I am ready tolive my best!

My time has come to eliminate excuses. Iam committed to living a better lifefrom this day forward. I make changesto my lifestyle today so I can better enjoymy life, including my family, in the future.

The adjustments I am making to myroutine allow me to stay healthy andstrong. I am free from the exhaustingeffects of idleness. I am able to interactwith my loved ones with high energy.

To ensure success, I set goals for myself. Ihave written goals for where I want to be3 months from now, as well as long termgoals.

In order to stay on the path to success, Ithink of all the things that have gotten inmy way in the past. Armed with a plan ofattack, I prepare myself to overcome thoseobstacles. I envision myself reachingmy ultimate goal.

Today, I choose to launch myself into abetter life by increasing my physicalactivity. Engaging in even the simplestform of activity brings me one step closerto a lifestyle of high energy.
