Reduction of Hazardous Substances Critical legislation regarding hazardous substances

GEO Requirements:European Union - directive effective July 1, 2006

Japan- No legislation, but companies are voluntary transitioning

US- No legislation, however requirement to supply RoHS compliant products to Europe after July 1, 2006

China - Ministry of Information Industry is in the process of preparing a similar regulation

The following hazardous substances are banned by directive:Lead (Pb), Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium (Chromium6), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)

NVIDIA is in full compliance with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC of January 27, 2003. In the event of any legislative changes,

NVIDIA reserves the right to change its position.
