COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CARE The Littman Cancer Center puts patients and their families at the core with a clinical team that delivers compassionate care from diagnosis through recovery and survivorship. The Littman Cancer Center ensures continuity of care throughout the journey with the most advanced modalities and diagnostics, all housed in a healing environment ... designed to meet the physical and emotional needs of cancer patients and their families. The journey through cancer care can be both confusing and frustrating. No patient “goes it alone” at the Littman Cancer Center. We offer the support of a patient navigator who can assist with scheduling medical appointments, providing transportation resources and a variety of other services to help guide pateints through the process. SLCH also offers support groups for both patients and caregivers at no charge. The Infusion Center at the Littman Cancer Center works collaboratively with patients, families, physicians and support staff to provide treatments and procedures in a caring, respectful and compassionate manner. Patients with cancer and other chronic conditions that require intravenous treatments, injections, and blood transfusions may rest assured that all medical and emotional needs are met in a healing environment. Cutting-edge technology and experienced, compassionate care are the hallmarks of Cornwall Radiation Oncology Services. CROS offers advanced TomoTherapy Radiation therapy — the first in Orange, Ulster and Sullivan Counties — which precisely pinpoints and treats cancer. WOUND HEALING & HYPERBARIC MEDICINE Located in the Cornwall Medical Pavilion, SLCH Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is the only site in Orange, Ulster and Sullivan Counties to offer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). HBOT is a medical treatment that enhances natural healing by providing additional oxygen to the body’s tissues. HBOT is utilized for the treatment of nonhealing wounds caused by conditions including diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, arterial or venous ulcers, traumatic injury, complications after surgery or radiation therapy, rheumatoid arthritis, congestive heart failure, lymphedema and other conditions that compromise circulation. BALANCE CENTERDizziness or imbalance frequently has treatable underlying causes. Balance testing is designed for anyone with dizziness, vertigo, difficulty judging distance, people with an increased risk of falling and anyone who has fallen once in the past year.The St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Balance Center uses a team approach to diagnose and treat your balance problems. Our multidisciplinary team of medical experts includes a otolaryngologist with subspecialty training in vestibular disorders, audiologist and vestibular therapists. It is not uncommon for individuals with a history of balance problems to regain their balance control through accurate diagnosis, followed by specific medical treatment and/or rehabilitation exercises.

CARDIAC AND PULMONARY REHABFor patients with coronary disease, the physical and emotional challenges can be great. SLCH’s Center for Cardiac Rehabilitation is dedicated to restoring health and well-being to these patients through a multidisciplinary program for both mind and body. According to the American Heart Association, cardiac rehabilitation programs can “extend overall survival” and “improve quality of life” for those with coronary issues.Pulmonary rehabilitation is a multidisciplanary program of care for patients with chronic respiratory impairment that is individually tailored and designed to optimize physical and social performance, and autonomy. The program includes exercise training, education and counseling.

PHYSICAL THERAPYThe St. Luke’s Cornwall Center for Physical Therapy features highly experienced clinicians who offer patients a warm, friendly, caring and productive environment that promotes healing and recovery.
