CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP IS FOR BUSINESSES PROVIDING FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES AND / OR EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS TO THE AUSTRALIAN MARKET.
There are three levels of Corporate Membership based on employee numbers. These are, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Corporate Members are bound by the provisions outlined in the FPA Australia Code of Practice and by the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

The number of employees your company has will determine which level of Corporate Membership you’re entitled to. You must choose at least the membership level corresponding to your employee numbers.
CORPORATE PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP
A PLATINUM MEMBER IS A COMPANY OR ORGANISATION THAT WISHES TO TAKE A HIGHLY ACTIVE ROLE IN THE FIRE PROTECTION INDUSTRY AND THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION.

Plus subscription, events entry and Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers (AWIB). Use of vouchers for sales centre items, Workplace Relations Plus subscriptions, and training is limited to 1 x $50 voucher per $500 spend. 1 x $50 voucher redeemable per new individual accreditation application or event entry (excludes social events). Vouchers redeemed towards AWIB insurance policies are limited to 1 x $50 voucher per policy. Individual members are eligible to redeem vouchers on personal insurance policies only. 10. CODE OF PRACTICE AND TERMS & CONDITIONS DECLARATION

Memorandum and Articles of Association/Constitution The Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is a company limited by guarantee pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 and operates under a Memorandum and Articles of Association/Constitution approved by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). A copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association/Constitution, which sets out the objectives of the Association and the corporate governance rules, can be viewed online at www.fpaa.com.au/membership.
Membership Application & Approval All applicants must submit application forms correctly completed, signed and accompanied by full payment of the appropriate fee in order to be considered for membership. The FPA Australia Board of Directors (the Board) has the sole discretion to approve or reject any membership application to the Association.
Termination and Suspension Membership will be suspended if fees are not paid by the due date and will be terminated after 30 days of the due date. Any member who breaches any of the following documents:
• Memorandum and Articles of Association/Constitution• Code of Practice• Code of Professional Conduct• Terms & Conditions of membership
Or is guilty of any misconduct or any other action deemed inappropriate may have their membership immediately suspended or terminated by the Board of Directors. If a membership is terminated or suspended the member must immediately cease representing that they are in any way affiliated or connected with FPA Australia. Membership fees are for a period of 12 months and are non-refundable.

Privacy Policy FPA Australia respects the privacy and personal information of its members. Personal and business information is collected by the Association for the primary purpose of providing services to members and maintaining the membership register. FPA Australia aims to manage and protect personal information in accordance with national privacy guidelines recommended pursuant to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or the most current version of this act, and the Australian Privacy Principles. The Association’s Privacy Statement can be viewed online at www.fpaa.com.au/about/privacy-policy.
Code of Practice Overview The Fire Protection Association Australia Code of Practice (the Code) prescribes the principles, standards of behaviour and service delivery requirements and applies to all Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) Signatories to the Code (Signatories). Signatories to the code are Corporate members of FPA Australia, who have signed the declaration, or whose authorised officer has signed the declaration, that states they will be bound by the Code.
Signatories will:• comply with all the provisions, terms and conditions included in this Code of Practice• comply with their obligations as stated in the FPA Australia – Memorandum and
Articles of Association (constitution), and the Membership Application Terms and Conditions, (Refer to Appendix A: Terms and Conditions)
• ensure they, their employees or any third party engaged by them are educated in the provisions of this Code
• be responsible for ensuring work undertaken by themselves, their employees or any third party engaged by them are compliant with this Code.
Objectives Compliance with this Code will ensure Signatories operate responsibly and ethically and support FPA Australia’s commitment to serve the community, for the best possible outcomes for the protection of life, property and the environment. To this end Signatories will promote:
• high standards of service delivery through compliance with the full spirit of and intent of all relevant legislation, codes and standards that pertain to the fire protection industry
• goodwill, positive outcomes and responsible corporate and social behaviour, through the observance of statutory requirements and contractual agreements in all dealings with clients, competitors and the community
• environmental responsibility and sustainable use of resources that consider the needs of future generations, including the responsible management of ozone depleting substances and synthetic greenhouse gases
• employment and development of competent, skilled and experienced persons who hold the appropriate qualifications, licences and accreditation where required.
