Corporate & Non-Profit Partner Program

Financial Literacy InitiativeMarch 2017 - October 2017

Benefiting metropolitan Philadelphia area schools in need of financial literacy resources

Dear Business Owner and Supporters of Financial Literacy:

With student loan debt at an all-time high, TruMark Financial designed a financial literacy program known as Building Financial Futures to help local schools teach students the fundamentals of saving, borrowing, and investing.

Realizing teachers needed classroom tools to teach personal finance, the credit union created the Kiss-A-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser to offer its support. The monies raised provide grants which allow schools to purchase materials such as textbooks, computer software, and math manipulatives which they might not be able to afford with their current budgets. The tools enrich the classroom experience and allow for more interactive lessons which make a greater impact on students.

We are asking you to partner with TruMark Financial by sponsoring its annualKiss-A-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser. This year’s participants and schools are planning various fundraising events throughout the year. The fundraising initiative concludes with the premier “Kiss-A-Pig” ceremony on Oct. 4, 2017, at the Abington Art Center in Jenkintown.

Please consider sponsoring the event. Last year this novel event, along with the credit union’s annual golf outing, raised $78,000. As a result, the credit union awarded $5,300 grants to 15 local schools for personal finance resources.

This year the credit union hopes to raise even more. We are looking to partner with sponsors who believe in our mission. If you would like to help sponsor this important fundraising event, please review the exciting opportunities enclosed with this letter and let us know your interest.

If you have any questions or would like further information about the Kiss-A-PigFinancial Literacy Fundraiser, please contact Randi Marmer at 215-396-6392 or [email protected].

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Richard F. StipaChief Executive OfficerTruMark Financial® Credit Union
