National Trading & Development NTDE City
Location: Dubai - UAE
NTDE City is a multi-faceted project, which will provides grade “A” office buildings, labour accommodation and state of the art automated logistics facilities including cold store and climate-controlled zones. This project when completed will house NTDE’s complete UAE operations and will undoubtedly elevate them to a higher level of service for their clients.

Schenker LLC
Regional HQ & Distribution Centre Location: Dubai – UAE
DCM International designed and project managed both the Regional Headquarters and the Central Distribution Centre for DB Schenker; the German logistics multinational, one of the top three logistics companies in the world. The Headquarters is a G+3 building constructed of precast concrete with a total built-up area of 4,100 m2. The Central Distribution Centre is a steel frame building with a built-up area of 36,000m2 serviced by 36 loading docks. The warehouse building is fitted with roof mounted solar power generation, which will produce 95% of DB Schenker’s power requirements.

Trilogi Mega Distribution Centre
Location: Dubai - UAE
The Trilogi Mega Distribution Centre was designed and project managed by DCM International. The project consists of two principal buildings; a 20m to eaves air-conditioned logistics facility with a total BUA of 40,000m2 and a G+1 administration office facility of 2,500m2. The Distribution Centre will house Nike, Under Armour, Columbia, Timberland etc. within a full serviced and automated seven level multi-tier racking system. This project was constructed on time within 10 months and under budget.

EMERSON Fisher Valves – Regional Head Office Location: Dubai – UAE
The Emerson Fisher building is a 14,000m2 facility consisting of a 4,500m2
ground plus two, administration office and a 9,500m2 ground plus mezzanine workshop facility. The workshop contains eleven overhead cranes, three jib cranes and a compressed air distribution network. There are also paint booths; shot blast zones and a pressure test facility. This project is the expansion for Emerson's Regional Head Office building, which was designed and project managed by DCM in 2010. Together the three projects designed and project managed by DCM for Emerson equate to 15,000m2
of grade “A” high quality office, 13,000m2
of logistics facility and 15,000m2 of workshops. This campus
in JAFZA is considered one of the best facilities within Emerson’ worldwide portfolio.

Emerson Climatic Technologies – Regional Head Office
Location: Dubai – UAE Emerson Climate Technologies building is a 14,500m2
logistics facility located within the JAFZA South zone. The building consists of a ground and mezzanine office facility of 3,000m2
and a distribution facility of 11,500m2. This facility is designed to accommodate Emerson’s Climate Technologies Regional Logistics requirements for the coming ten years. This project is the third undertaken by DCM for Emerson. On all three projects, DCM has designed and project managed the entire facility.

Emerson Regional Head Office Location: Dubai – UAE An American Corporation with a yearly turnover in excess of US$25 Billion, Emerson is a global manufacturing and technology company offering a wide range of products and services in the areas of network power, process management, industrial automation and climate technologies. Recognized widely for their engineering capabilities and management excellence, Emerson selected DCM to design and project manages their new Regional Headquarters.
DCM Role: - DCM provided a complete turnkey service for Emerson. This included the design and full project management and site supervision for their 8,000m2 fully fitted out office facility. This building is now the Regional Head Office for Emerson, where they manage Middle East, African and Far East operations.

Weatherford
Training & Technology Centre
Location: Abu-Dhabi - UAE
Weatherford is one of the worlds’ largest oil-field services companies and is listed on the NYSE. They operate in more than 100 countries and employ more than 50,000 people worldwide. DCM coordinated with Weatherford’s global training management team to establish the design for this very high specification training & technology center. The project encompasses a 130-seat auditorium, which features the largest back projection system installed within the Middle East. The project also includes a real-time operations center, rig simulator, videoconference, electronics laboratory, numerous lecture theaters and training facilities. The building is equipped with a fully functional restaurant and is setup to facilitate Weatherford’s Regional Data Center.
DCM ROLE: provided full design and project management services for both the base building and fitting out packages including the procurement of all Audio Visual and FF&E items.

Weatherford Manufacturing Offices
Location: Abu-Dhabi - UAE Weatherford’s manufacturing office HQ is adjacent to their main manufacturing facility and is constructed over three stories equating to approximately 4,500m2 of fully fitted out high spec office facility.
DCM’s ROLE: on this project DCM provided full services, including design and project management of both the base building and fitting out packages including the procurement of all FF&E items.

Johnson & Johnson
Regional Head Office
Location: Dubai - UAE
Johnson & Johnson (J&J) employs in excess of 114,000 staff worldwide in the field of research development, manufacture and sale of products in the health care field. J&J’s Regional Head Office is situated in a 2B+G+3F building within Dubai Healthcare City, UAE.
DCM ROLE: Represented J&J and project managed the construction of the base building then provided full design and project management services for their office fitting out and procurement management of all FF&E items.

Tetra Pak
Corporate - Regional Head Office
Location: - Dubai - UAE Operating in more than 170 markets with over 20,000 employees Tetra Pak is truly a world leader in food processing and packaging.
DCM ROLE: DCM structured a development deal to
undertake the Tetra Pak Regional Head Office, whereby
Tetra Pak would only sign a long lease for their building
and pay an annual rent calculated on the actual
development cost of the project. DCM also designed and
project managed the base building and fitting out package
for the project. Upon project completion we established
and agreed with both parties the final rental costs to be
paid by Tetra Pak. These negotiations resulted in Tetra
Pak obtaining a building, which facilitated their entire
future office requirement at less than ½ the annual rental
cost they were previously paying.

Infosys Technologies Office Facility Location: Bangalore - India The project includes offices, an auditorium with seating for six thousand, T.V. studios, restaurants, accommodation and extensive landscaping works all on a nineteen acres site. DCM ROLE: to provide the master plan & concept Architectural designs for Infosys Technologies expansion plans in Bangalore.

Location: Dubai – UAE DCM Designed and project managed the fitting out and migration of PepsiCo to their Regional Headquarters in Dubai.

Wrigley Regional Head Office
Location: Dubai - UAE
Wrigley is a recognized leader in confectionary goods with a wide range of products including gum, mints, hard and chewy candies and chocolate. The company has operations in more than 40 countries and distributes its world-famous brands in more than 180 countries, generating global revenues of $30 billion annually.
DCM ROLE: Wrigley appointed DCM to project manage their MENA Regional Head Office building.
Dubai Internet City Office Development
Location: Dubai – UAE Dubai Internet City (DIC) is an information technology park created by the Government of Dubai as a free economic zone and a strategic base for companies targeting Regional emerging markets.
DCM ROLE: DCM’s CEO, Mr Andrew Fullerton, project managed this development personally. The project consisted of 40,000m² of speculative office space split over four buildings, the complete infrastructure for an advanced data centre, which currently facilitates the entire DIC. The project also contains significant external infrastructure including both a salt water and sweet water lake, with elaborate hard and soft landscaping, incorporating numerous water features within a land area of more than 300,000m².

Weatherford Manufacturing Facility
Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE
The Abu Dhabi manufacturing facility is the largest plant owned and operated by Weatherford. The project, in summary, consists of a 38,000m2 air-conditioned manufacturing facility and includes pressure test zones, shot blast, paint booths, carbide shops, pipe reclamations and pipe storage. The facility is served by 22 overhead cranes and 25 jib cranes. A buss bar power system and compressed airlines run throughout the plant and provides versatile power and air connection to all areas of the plant. DCM ROLE: DCM designed and project managed every aspect of this project for Weatherford. We are pleased to report that the plant after its first year of operation is now surpassing Weatherford’s internal production forecasts and is the top producing plant within their worldwide portfolio.

Weatherford City Iraq Operations Base
Location: Basra - Iraq
The North Ramallah base, known, as “Weatherford City” is located in Basra, in the South of Iraq. This base is one of the largest operations undertaken by Weatherford. The facility can accommodate 1,250 personnel within 2/3* grade accommodation and provide full onsite catering, laundry, medical centre, power generation, desalination, grey water treatment and diesel storage. In addition to the accommodation aspect of the base there will also be three operational workshops totalling 27,000m2. These include; machine shop, pipe reclamation, pressure test zone, shot blast and paint booths to facilitate all Weatherford’s product-lines.
DCM Role: from our offices in Dubai and Iraq, DCM designed and project managed every aspect of this project for Weatherford.

Pipe Reclamation
Location: Abu Dhabi – UAE and Iraq
The pipe reclamation operation is located within Weatherford’s facility in Abu Dhabi and southern Iraq. These facilities include an automated pipe reclamation facility complete with EMI testing and internal and external pipe coating station.
DCM Role: designed and project managed the building component of this facility, with Weatherford undertaking the mechanical automation in-house.
Simulator & Real time Operation Centre
Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE
The simulator facility is located within Weatherford’s Training & Technology Centre; it is designed to provide real-time simulation of the drilling process and is a vital part of Weatherford’s on-going progress and development of both their in-house and client’s staff. Real-time operations are a key value added service offered by Weatherford. It allows senior Weatherford staff the ability to monitor and optimize the drilling operation for all rigs from a centralized control centre located in Abu Dhabi. This facility has derived significant benefits to both Weatherford and their clients alike. DCM Role: designed and project managed the building component of this facility.

Weatherford Laboratories Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE
The facility is a cutting edge geochemical laboratory to facilitate all facets of rock and fluid analysis for the purpose of evaluating hydrocarbon resources. This facility is considered the best facility in Weatherford’s portfolio of laboratories. DCM Role: DCM designed and project managed every aspect of this project for Weatherford.

Weatherford Pressure Test Facility Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE
These facilities can accommodate the testing of multiple components up to pressures of 30,000 psi. DCM Role: DCM designed and project managed Weatherford’s pressure test facility within their complex in Abu Dhabi.

Zodiac Aerospace Location: Dubai - UAE
Zodiac Aerospace is a World leader in ‘aerospace equipment and systems. Zodiac Aerospace Services Middle East (ZME) project was the construction of a new office & workshop facility, located on two adjacent plots within Dubai World Central. The project is approximately 6,000m2 of hot rolled steel frame and reinforced concrete construction. The functional requirements of Zodiac’s operations dictated ‘multi height’ workshop space. This requirement allowed DCM’s architects the opportunity to develop a design concept based on an aerospace theme, which you see in the attached visualization. DCM Role: DCM designed and project managed every aspects of the project for Zodiac.

Integrated National Logistics (INL)
Location: Dubai - UAE INL is a joint venture between Integrated Logistics, a publicly traded company from Malaysia, and National Trading & Development Establishment (NTDE) from the UAE. The Joint venture was established to provide third party logistics services throughout the Middle East. Their flagship facility is a 70,000m2 state of the art logistics facility, consisting of 45,000 fully automated cold store pallet positions and 35,000 pallets of conventional air-conditioned storage. The introduction of a fully automated storage system is a first for an independent company in the region. DCM has designed and project managed the complete facility. Now that the project has been successfully completed and the facility is operational the way goods are stored in Dubai will be totally transformed. Logistics, will now be brought to a new level within the region

National Trading & Development Establishment Logistics Facility
Location: Dubai -UAE
NTDE is one of the Gulf’s leading distribution and logistics providers for international consumer brands in the
Region. Their list of brands includes Cadbury Chocolate, Davidoff, Haagen-Dazs, Pokka juices, Vitamin-C drink
and Al Rabies juices.
DCM Role: DCM Project managed the construction of their high-bay warehouse located at the centre of their Regional Headquarters complex in Dubai.

Edgen Murray is a truly global company with operations in every
continent; they specialize in the supply and distribution of high
performance steel products.
DCM Role: DCM designed and project managed the expansion of

Champion Cleaners Head Office & Dry cleaning Location: Dubai – UAE Champion Cleaners, development, a leading dry cleaning company in Dubai, is a fully automated laundry facility located within Dubai Investment Park with a capacity to process twenty thousand garments per day. DCM designed and project managed the complete facility.

Wärtsilä Manufacturing Facility
Location: Dubai - UAE
Wärtsilä is a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine and energy
markets. Wärtsilä's net sales totalled EUR 4.6 billion employing 17,500 staff. The company
has operations in 160 locations in 70 countries around the world.
DCM Role: DCM designed and project managed their office and
workshop facility located within Dubai Investment Park. The
workshop incorporates seven overhead cranes ranging in size from
20 to 30 tonnes.

MBC Head Office relocation
Location: Dubai - UAE MBC (Middle-East Broadcasting Company) is the largest TV and radio broadcaster in the Middle East. DCM’s CEO project managed numerous developments for MBC over a four-year period. The management of the relocation of the companies’ head office from London to Dubai Media City was the largest project undertaken by MBC. This project included the construction of one main production studio several smaller studios for TV and Radio, sound booths, control rooms and high quality office facility of approximately 8,000m2 to accommodate the owner and senior management.
MBC Big Brother
Location: Manama - Bahrain
DCM’s CEO project managed the “Big Brother House” project for MBC. This project was developed in conjunction with Endermol the world’s largest independent production company and the owner of the Big Brother franchise. The project consisted of a large film set constructed in the shape of a conventional villa, however permitting secret filming from every area of the facility. The project also contained control rooms sound booths and a large
production studio, to house an audience of over 100 guests.

Al-Arabia News - Studio Location: Dubai – UAE
Al-Arabia news studio was the first open news set in the Middle East and has set the standard for news sets ever since. DCM project managed this development for MBC the parent company of Al-Arabia.
Al Aan TV Head Office & Studio
Location: Dubai - UAE
Al Aan' is a pan-Arab infotainment satellite television station based in Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates. It focuses on news content and entertainment programs and targets Arab families with a slight tilt towards young female audience in the Arab world. DCM designed and project managed their facility within Media City, which included their main news set, control room, transmission room and offices for their senior staff.

Location: Dubai - UAE
DCM designed this production Studio for Dubai TV. This project consisted of; two studios of 1,000m2 and 500m2, control room, sound booths and other support functions.

Forte Hotel Group
Hotel Projects Location: United Kingdom (various locations)
Roll out programme of three star hotels for the Forte Group DCM was appointed to produce a concept design for Post House Hotels to be applied throughout the UK. We worked with various local architects during the design process and supervised on site installation. Our brief was to produce a consistent corporate image that was attractive, practical and commercially viable. During the subsequent rollout programme, capital expenditure was monitored and reduced through economies of scale. Only minor local adjustments were needed to the design of this very profitable and successful concept.

Le Jeddah Meridien
Hotel Development
Location: Jeddah – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Privately funded three hundred bedrooms five star hotel with extensive banqueting and wedding function facilities after construction of the building shell, DCM International was appointed as sole consultants and project managers.
DCM Role: We undertook extensive revisions of the design proposals, which produced benefits in cost, time and quality of work. DCM International helped negotiate the contracts, advised our client on appointments, controlled and supervised the work on site.
This project was successfully completed at 40% less capital expenditure then comparable developments in the region.

Management Services DCM International was appointed by Mr Salim Al Moosa to undertake an extensive management review of his construction company’s (Pioneer) performance on the City Bank project (pictured below). Pioneer was the main contractor for this 16-story prestigious office development providing more than 70,000M² of office space for a construction cost of $45,000,000. During this assignment DCM International reported directly to Mr Al Moosa the President of the Company. We advised and implemented significant efficiency improvements and established the principle elements behind their large contractual claim for additional costs and an extension of time.
DCM International was appointed by a top international design consultancy practice to review and upgrade their internal quality systems and operating procedures. The deliverables from this assignment was a complete revision to their existing quality system and several workshop-training seminars to implement the new management and quality systems throughout the organisation.
