is designed to sort plastic materialsfrom a single waste stream into 3different outputs up to 4 tonnes perhour.

All our products go throughcomprehensive and stringent teststo ensure that the quality meetscustomers requirements. Thesetests are done by our QC Department

using the full range of equipment andinstruments in our laboratory.

We have serviced major MNCs as wellas local companies. Our customersinclude petrochemical companies, resinmanufacturers, airline companies,plastic product manufacturers, wastemanagement companies and so on.Over the years, we have built up avery good reputation and trust for ourreliable services and quality products.

Eveready Manufacturing Pte Ltdwas established in 1978 and today,we are one of the largest plasticprocessing companies in Singapore.Our primary business is in plasticrecycling and compounding, supplyingboth commodity and engineeringplastic resins worldwide. We alsohave a film and sheet manufacturingplant in Malaysia. The plant is able

to manufacture LDPE films of up to 9meters wide.

We have the expertise and know-howto process different types, shapes andsizes of post-industrial and consumerwastes into resins. Our factoriesare equipped with a complete rangeof facilities to process up to 1,000tonnes of resins per month. One of ourlatest developments is the NIRSortTMAutomated Sorting System. This system

WHAT WE DO

We provide a one-stop plastic recyclingsolution to help our customers manageplastic wastes. With our completerange of facilities, we can process allforms, sizes, and shapes of plasticwastes and recycle them into resins.The recycled resins can be returned toour customers or simply sold to otherparties as raw materials.

We provide personalised services toour customers. After the consultationprocess, we will recommend the mosteconomical and environmental friendlymanner to manage their wastes. Ourservices include:

Storage and CollectionWe advise our customers a storage andcollection system to handle the scrapsthat they produced. For example, weprovide bins, crates, or even designappropriate form of containers for our

customers to store the plastic wastes.As some of the wastes can be ratherbulky, we sometimes propose a solutionon how to maximise the storagespace which in turn will save on thetransportation costs.

Recycling ProcessOur recycling processes start fromsorting, shredding, crushing, blending,extrusion, to QC testing. Equippedwith the full range of recyclingequipment and machines, Eveready hasthe capability to process both post-industrial and post-consumer wastes.Having accumulated more than 30 yearsof experience in the recycling business,

we also have the expertise to recyclevarious types of plastics materials.

In addition, with our know-how inplastic compounding, it is also possibleto modify the recycled resins andenhance its physical or mechanicalproperties by adding additives. In thisaspect, our R&D Department will workclosely with our customers to developthe required products.

To ensure quality assurance, all our

products go through comprehensive QCtesting before we deliver them to ourcustomers.

NIRSORT AUTOMATEDPLASTIC SORTING SYSTEM

The NIRSortTM is an automated plastic

sorting system designed to sort all

types of plastic wastes. Using the Near

Infrared technology, the system can

solve all manual sorting problems such

as labour intensive, slow, inaccurate

and inconsistent. The system has a high

capacity of 2 to 4 tonnes per hour and

sorting accuracy of up to 99%. The Near

Infrared sensors are extremely reliable

and able to detect all types of plastic.

The design of each sorting plant is

unique. We work closely with our

customers to study the types, forms

and sizes of the incoming waste stream

that the sorting plant is designed to

handle. We also need to understand

the customers requirements and the

plant configuration in order to build

an appropriate sorting plant. Having

gathered all this information, our project

team will undertake the entire setupof the sorting plant from consultancy,

designing, procurement, construction to

testing and system commissioning.

PLASTIC COMPOUNDING

We provide plastic compounding

services using prime or recycled

materials to produce high performance

plastic resins. We have the expertise

to compound plastic resins with the

following properties:

- flame retardant

- UV resistant

- glass fibre reinforced

- carbon fibre reinforced- high heat resistant

- high mechanical strength

We also manufacture masterbatches

and mineral fillers compounds as

follows:

- Calcium carbonate masterbatch/

compound

- Talc filled masterbatch/compound

- Ti02 filled masterbatch/compound

- Filler mixture compound

- Colour compound

OUR PRODUCTS

Plastic CompoundWe produce plastic compound resins

and masterbatches to customer

specifications. The resins can be

tailor-made to be flame retardant, UV

resistant, glass fibre reinforced, etc.

Film and SheetWe have the largest blow film machine

in this region which can produce films

or sheets of up to 9 metres wide.Examples of the films or sheets that we

produce are:

- agricultural greenhouse film

- construction sheet

- pond liner

- airline cargo liner

- mulch film

- greenhouse structure

- locking clip for greenhouse structure

Recycled ResinsEveready is the largest recycled plastic

resins supplier in Singapore. We

have a constant supply of polyolefins

and engineering plastics such as PC,

PC/ABS, PMMA, etc. The sources of our

resins are mainly from petrochemical

companies and resin manufacturers.

We offer reasonably priced high quality

recycled resins which are near to prime

grade specifications.

The resins are sold to many Asia and

Middle East countries. Our excellent

customer service and competent

technical team have made our high

quality resins popular and gain good

reputation among our customers.

OUR FACILITIES

We have 2 factories in Singaporewith a total area of 20,500 m2. Ourequipment and machineries includebaling machines, shredder, crushers,automated sorting plant, extruders,blenders, etc. In Malaysia, the industrialand agricultural film manufacturingplant is about 7,432 m2. The plant usesmodern gravimetric propertioners toensure the greatest uniformity of the

material mixtures in order to achievehigh accuracy of the film gauge.

QC LaboratoryOur QC Laboratory is equipped witha full range of lab equipment andinstruments. These include the MeltFlow Index, Izod Impact Tester, TensileStrength Tester, Heat Distortion Tester,Hardness Tester, Furnace, Drying Oven,QC Injection Moulding Machine, QCBlow Film Machine, and QC Extruder

Machine.

Every batch of our products will gothrough a comprehensive test to ensurequality control as well as to give ourcustomers the quality assurance.

All our products come with a materialspecification to ensure that its qualitymeet our customers requirements.

Our tests are conformed to ASTMstandards. We are also able to producethe relevant test specifications orcertifications such as RoHS certification.

Having accumulated many years ofexperience and know-how, we areable to offer comprehensive technicalconsultations in plastic recycling andcompounding according to customersneeds. Hence, besides conductingthe QC testing, our QC Departmentalso carries out product developmentswith our customers and manufacturestailor-made resins accordingly to theirspecifications.
