Greater diversity. For the greater good.We are living at a time of great social change which is pushing organizations to rethink their ways of doing things. In this context, the leaders of big and small companies alike all share a common belief: that diversity has become a determining factor to help us take on the challenges of the 21st century.

At L’effet A, we’ve made it our mission to accelerate the presence of women of all origins and backgrounds at every level of corporate culture. By showcasing their strengths and distinctive approaches, we’ll see a richer variety of leaders emerge with complementary personalities and talents. We believe that it is urgent to encourage leaders—be they men or women—to assert a leadership style that reflects who they are and, in so doing, to bring the kind of nuance and depth that organizations need.

After training more than 2,500 female managers and from over a hundred companies, L’effet A is the ideal partner to support you in the acceleration of women in decision-making roles. We are determined to power the talent of women within your organization and to contribute to the creation of corporate cultures that are inclusive, innovative and diversified.

Thank you for your trust in us.

Sincerely,

John GallagherCo-founder of the L’effet A

Our virtual programs

This fall, the Défi 100 jours and the Défi Leadership will take place online and will continue to draw on our proven methodology. More than 350 women have already experienced this virtual approach which delivered the same results that have made L’effet A so effective and reliable for five years.

For the Défi 100 jours, we’ll have the opportunity to bring the cohorts from Montreal, Quebec City, Paris and Lausanne together virtually and benefit from the rich international experience of the Quebec and European leaders who will be taking part. As part of these two programs, you will have several opportunities to discuss with other participants in small groups. These videoconference meetings will allow you to network and help each other out.

The Défi Leadership Program

Exclusive to the Défi Leadership program: Co-development in squads

Co-development is an effective and proven method for developing competencies and solving problems. To accelerate the growth of managers during the Défi Leadership and beyond, every participant is part of a small group—called a squad—that will meet three times during the program. Here are a few advantages to this approach:

• Your creativity and critical thinking improves, which in turn aids problem solving

• You tap into the broader group intelligence

• You develop a better self-understanding by being in contact with others

• You engage and take increased ownership with regards to your professional development

This program is offered exclusively in Quebec for the time being.

A methodology that promotes lasting behavioural change.

The Déf i 100 jours and the Défi Leadership programs are now online and have been designed to foster the same level of excellence and development potential as the face-to-face experience.

1 Combine self-reflection and action Weekly challenges and self-reflection exercises allow you to better assert your leadership.

You’ll also be invited to adopt introspective practices that will lead to concrete action in your daily life

2 Find inspiration in various leadership models Being exposed to various leadership models gives participants the chance to project

themselves more easily into a leadership role and adopt a more ambitious mindset within their organization. Privileged access to the L’effet A leaders—who share their lived experiences and valuable advice— has a big impact on the behavioural transformations that participants undergo.

3 Learn with a network of professional women Whether it’s during workshops or triads, group activities foster a true spirit of community

that supports behavioural change as the program unfolds and encourages you to push yourself further and take action.

4 Benefiting from microlearning techniques Research in neuroeducation proves that spaced repetition of information improves learning.

The L’effet A program content is divided into small parts that are repeated frequently. The content is also available on the learning platform, 24/7, during the 100 days.

5 Take action by setting a challenge To make the program concrete and encourage participants to put their learning into action,

we ask them to identify a professional challenge that they will take on over the course of the 100 days.

L’effet A Corporate Program

Advantages

When registering a minimum of five participants* as part of the same cohort, you get the advantages of the corporate program such as:

1 The guidance of the L’effet A client service team to assist you before, during and after the program.

2 A launch meeting to present the program to participating employees and their manager(s) for companies with 10 participants or more.

3 Access to the corporate toolbox, which outlines the main stages of the program and the communication tools, including a Manager’s Guide of the program and a Manager’s Guide (Défi 100 jours only).

4 A final report recapitulating your employees’ experience so that you can see their concrete evolution over the course of the 100 days.

Accelerate the experience

A good learning environment fosters the integration of new skills and the transformation of behaviours. The L’effet A programs are turnkey initiatives, but there are a few ways you can offer additional support to your participants, depending on your internal resources, such as:

• Integrating the L’effet A program into your leadership development strategies;

• Naming a member of your team cohort leader to more personalized follow-up;

• Personalizing the program to align with your corporate culture by inviting leaders from your organization to spend time with the participants at key moments during the program.

*Three or more participants for Switzerland.

“L’effet A gave participants the opportunity to value the importance of networking as part of their career development. But beyond the skills and reflexes that they gained, our employees had the chance to carve out a space where they could reflect on their professional and personal objectives.”
