TasteBud, an outdoor culinary experience and silent auction, attracts nearly 600 attendees every year. Guests enjoy samples from local caterers, restaurants, wineries and breweries in the Garden while bidding on a wide variety of unique silent auction items.

Garden Fair is back again as a local community plant and gardening sale. Area plant professionals will offer a selection of annuals, perennials, containers, hanging baskets, succulents, shrubs and more for purchase. Our Horticulture Team will be selling plants that are tested right here at the Garden. Gardening supplies, equipment, pots, bulbs, landscape design services and limited handcrafted garden art will also be for sale. In addition, our horticulturists, local garden experts and plant pros will be on hand to answer gardening questions, including, Melinda Myers, nationally known gardening expert, TV/radio host and author–presented by ATC Grow Smart. Visitors will receive free admission to the plant sale and half off admission into the Garden!

During Getaway Wednesdays, the Garden opens its doors for all to experience Mother Nature’s breathtaking beauty. Reignite your passion to be outdoors this summer. Sponsors receive recognition from June–August. Last summer, the Garden welcomed more than 75,000 visitors.

Butterflies & Blooms: North American edition presented by Nature’s Way will feature a stunning, interactive butterfly experience where 400 pollinators will arrive each week representing North America and the plants they love. An eclectic variety of talented national and regional musicians will grace the Billie Kress Amphitheater surrounded by stunning views of the Schneider Family Grand Garden. Guests are invited to stroll through the breathtaking Garden, listen to live music, enjoy wine, beer and food among native plants and relax with family and friends with a picnic on the lawn—making it the perfect evening for music lovers of all ages. Surrounded by the spectacular views of the Schneider Family Grand Garden, music lovers of all ages will enjoy live family–friendly music in the Billie Kress Amphitheater. Concert–goers can stroll throughout the Garden, play various yard games, or enjoy wine, beer and food. One act highlighting regional talent will perform from 6–8 pm with a 15 minute intermission. On average, 700 guests attend each concert.

Celebrating its 24th year, WPS Garden of Lights is the Garden’s largest annual fundraiser. On average, 65,000 visitors experience this dazzling and engaging light show. More than 325,000 lights sparkle throughout the Garden creating a stunning winter landscape filled with a variety of nature–inspired light displays.
