Dear Church Family, Thanks for being at Bible Center Church today. We are glad that you are here. You have come in the midst of a decisive month of acon and new iniaves that we are rolling out to our church family. We would love to have you be a part. Jump in and share in the life we share following Jesus Christ our Lord! You have encouraged us by coming. Did you know that Jesus had a small group? You most likely know that His disciples went on to reshape world history…as well as many of our personal histories. In this month long lead up to our launch of Community Groups, we are pondering Jesus’ small group. Are you a connected person? Or are you a rock and another footnote on that old Paul Simon song, “I am rock, I am an island!” God never intended any of us to live that way, which is a part of what makes His interdependent family a joy. Today, we consider connecons. You connected? Tonight, we look at David, the man aſter God’s own heart…who went down hard in sinful failure. If he went down, then going down is a threat to us, as well. God can keep us; but, tonight as we trek through David’s life, we invariably must face his sin with Bathsheba. But God is a Redeemer and has a famous name, well-earned, for healing broken things…even self-inflicted wounds. How we love grace at Bible Center… and Sundays together. Our New Small GrOupS miNiStry

What is it?Community Groups are small groups of adults (generally about 12) that meet weekly in homes throughout the valley for fellowship, prayer, and sermon-based discussions.

What is the purpose? The goal of Community is to put into action the mission of Bible Center Church. Through Community, our people will live for Christ together by developing biblical relationships within the body.

When is it?The fall session of our Community Groups will begin in October and run until the week before Thanksgiving. These same groups will resume in January and run until spring.

What night of the week is it?Our Community Groups are available on every night of the week, except Wednesdays. You have the flexibility to choose a group that fits your schedule, location, and child situation.

What about my children? We have child-friendly Community Groups.

How do I get Connected with a Community Group? You can get connected with Community Group by:

1. Register online: Go to www.biblecenterchurch.com/community and click “Find a Group.” Select a group that is best for your schedule, location, and child situation.

2. Register at church: Go to the Community Group table in the Gathering Space starting September 8th to sign up for a group.
