DescriptionDeveloped by intrepid adventure seekers, geocaching involves hunting for hidden prizes using global positioning systems (GPS devices). A typical cache contains small trinkets and clues to discovering further caches.

Each destination will be reached by boat and then participants will continue on foot. Participants also have the opportunity to share their experiences amongst an active online community.

DescriptionThis program mixes two of our classic race events. Teams participate in a Tag Team Mini Racing Regatta in the inner harbour, with an Urban Geocache Hunt incorporated into the on-land portion of the day. This keeps all participants constantly engaged as they go from performance sailing on the water to using their intelligence and treasure hunting skills on shore.

Objective This tag team format really brings out the competitive edge as participants seek to gain points in all activities. Use newly acquired sailing skills under the direct supervision of our instructors while out on the water. The on-land elements really test knowledge and treasure hunting skills. Participants are organised into tag teams, with one half of the tag team on the water, and the other half on land. This will alternate throughout the event, and the team with the most points wins.

The Urban Geocache Hunt elements enable a challenging aspect as teams are encouraged to solve problems quickly and analytically. This is also a fun-filled element of the event, as teams work through the many challenges such as the Photo Scavenger Hunt (with a twist), The Collectables task and also the Sing-a-Long Sailor task.

ValueSailing, especially competitive sailing, has many parallels to a bona fide working environment and includes many natural team-building elements such as leadership, communication, teamwork and confidence. Sail the boat with the help of your crew, keep lines open to get the job done, co-operate as a crew to achieve results, perform under pressure, make decisions and carry them out.

We customize our events to suit the specific objectives of your company. Let our staff know your specific event goal and we will seek to tailor your experience accordingly.
