Dear Parishioners,

I would generally begin this Easter letter thanking everyone for their prayerful participation in the liturgies of Holy Week and expressing thanks to all who made the week special and prayerful for all of us.

This Holy Week has been one like no other and I pray that there will never be another one like it again. The celebrations of Holy Week culminat-ing in the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is something I look forward to every year. It is not so much that the liturgies are so beauti-ful, but that your faith is beautiful and it always gives me strength to experi-ence the profound prayerfulness and deep devotion that accompanies the cel-ebration of the mystery of the Lord’s Passion, Death and Resurrection.

Even though we were not able to celebrate this Easter as we normally do I have once again experienced your deep faith in your faithful watching of the Mass on our Facebook page and website. I have witnessed your trust in God during a time of crisis. I have experienced your love in the many mes-

sages and calls you have made asking about the health and well being of Fr. Jim, Fr. John and myself.

Easter is not just the celebration of a day, but of a season. For the next two months we will continue to celebrate the Easter Season leading us towards the celebration of Pentecost and Trinity Sundays and then the Feast of Corpus Christi. I pray that we will be together again for some of these celebrations. In the mean-time we continue to trust in the Lord of love and life. We continue to proclaim that He is Risen - He is Truly Risen.

May the peace of the Risen Lord be with all of you and with your families.

Estimados feligreses,
