APPEAL FOR DONATION TOWARDS CORPUS FUNDS
Sumangali Seva Ashrama is a Non Profit voluntary organization
and Registered under
Karnataka Societies Act 1960. This organization is dedicated to
the services of downtrodden
deserted women, Orphan children and community welfare.
Smt.S.G.Susheelamma the
founder President of this Organization, established this in the
year 1975 with its Reg.No.
212/75-76. Its distinct style of functioning since 37 years
based on the principles of Gandhism
has made it a well-respected and well-known organization both at
the state and the national
level facilitating many awards personal as well as
institutional.
The organization is working for the society where the needy
women and children get free
shelter, food, health, education, family counseling, old age
home and trainings. Apart fromthe construction of free houses to
the shelter less, Ashrama is organizing free health camps to
slum and rural people where the needy get medical help and
equipments. Till the date
Ashrama has provided different services for the society which
has been fruitful for more than
nineteen lakhs beneficiaries.
In this context, in order to ensure smooth sustenance of the
organization, We are raising
funds towards Corpus Funds, which is a permanent fund and the
interest or dividend
accrued on such fund is kept for the basic expenditures needed
for the administration and
survival of the organization. Building of a corpus fund is
important because if a sizeable
corpus exists, the core activities of the organization can still
continue in the period when
grants and external help are not available. It also reduces the
financial vulnerability and thus
assures long term existence. So, we request you to kindly
contribute a minimum amount of
Rs.1,000/- and above per annum towards corpus funds and help us
to help others. Donations
in cash or cheque can be made in favour of Sumangali Seva
Ashrama and donation by
online transfer can be made to the below mentioned details of
the bank.
Note: All donations to this institution is exempted from Income
Tax under 80G of income tax
Act 1961, as per the order No.Accts/718/35,88/CI-II Dated
09.07.97, 1-93 of the
Commissioner of Income Tax Karnataka, Bangalore. We are also
