    Refer to drawing no: 193-S_PL08-00 enlarged 1st storey roof plan zone 6 and 193-S_SEC1-00 section, there are some discrepancy for steel members, please clarify it.

    Refer to drawing 193-S_PL08-00 1) We confirm that the edge beam for Canopy 1 is 100x100x10mm THK ANGLE (B8). Refer to drawing 193-S_SEC1-00 2) We would like to highlight the change of column to beam connection short stump from 100x100x6mm THK SHS to 120x120x10mm THK SHS. It is 200mm in length as shown in Detail 8 of drawings issued. 3) We confirm that the main cantilever beam for Canopy 1 is 150x150x8mm THK SHS (B3). 4) We confirm that the edge beam for Canopy 1 is 100x100x10mm THK ANGLE (B8). Clarified in layout.

    Please kindly advise that we should need to include the portraits of the people into the etched copper panel for the platforms? Any supplier contract number ?

    Portraits of the people will be a graphic provided by the artist that will be etched on the copper panels. Contractor is to supply and install copper panels etched with these graphics. For copper panels, refer to drawing number 193-400.

    Refer to drawing no: 193-002.05-00 partial floor plan part 5 and 193-301.05-00 partial floor finish plan part 5 the mentioned area (as per attachement) is under our scope of works? If it to be under our scope of works, can provide the detail of floor?

    For floor finishes, refer to drawing no. 193-300. The final 10 decorative concrete floor finishes are to be developed in collaboration with the architect, artist and concrete artisan. through a process of mockups and reviews. The concrete artisan will prepare mockups on site for architect's and artist's approval. These mockups will comprise a combination of aggregates, colours and effects to achieve the desired outcomes. The aggregates, colours and effects listed here are not exhaustive and is subject to further confirmation upon architect's and artist's reviewing of mockups.

    48 WORKING DAYS AND WORKING HOURS (CONT'D)

    Subject to any provision to the contrary contained in theContract, and subject to any written law on noise pollution(including the Environmental Protection and Management(Control of Noise at Construction Sites) Regulations), no workwhich requires supervision shall be carried out during the nightor on Sundays or on public holidays without the writtenpermission of the Superintending Officer except when suchwork is rendered unavoidable or necessary for the saving oflife or property or for the safety of the Works, in which casethe Contractor shall inform the Superintending Officer at theearliest possible opportunity of the same. For the purposes ofthis Clause, the term "night" shall mean the period from 6.00p.m. to 8.00 a.m.

    Please note that no works are allowed to be carried out atColeman Street, from 2.00AM to 11.00PM on the followingdates:6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 June 20154, 5, 11,12, 18, 19, 25 and 26 July 20151, 2, 8 and 9 August 2015

    In addition, any part of the Works which requires theEmployers supervision shall be carried out during theEmployers official works hours. The Superintending Officersprior written permission shall be obtained.

    49 WORK PERFORMED BY CONSULTANTS AND/OREMPLOYERS SITE SUPERVISORY STAFF BEYONDNORMAL WORKING HOURS

    If overtime work is required either at the Contractor's requestor in circumstances deemed necessary and approved by theSO, the Contractor will be required to reimburse the Employerfor the nett overtime charges including CPF contributions, paidby the Employer to his Clerk-of-Works (Resident TechnicalOfficer) and other site resident staff in this connection.

    The rates shall be 1 times the normal rate for overtime onweekdays and Saturdays, and 1 times the normal rate forovertime on Sundays and Public Holidays. The normalworking hours shall be as follows:

    Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Saturday 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

    The Contractor shall be deemed to have made all necessaryallowances for any and all overtime expenses as may berequired to be incurred by the Employers site supervisory staffunder the Contract.

    The Contractor shall not pay overtime expenses to theEmployers site supervisory staff directly. Any such paymentshall be forfeited by the Employer and the Contractor shall stillremain liable for the overtime expenses to the Employer.

    50 TESTING & TESTING FACILITIES

    The Contractor shall provide all the necessary labour, Plant,tools, instruments and materials for carrying out all testsstipulated in the Contract or as directed by the SO includingthe provision of all necessary transport for the transportation ofinstruments, tests materials, samples and supervisors, etc. toand from any accredited laboratory or any other testingfacilities as and when directed by the SO or his appointed siterepresentative. The Contractor shall make allowance for all theabove in his tender price as no monetary claim forcompensation or extras shall be paid for any work carried outby the Contractor in connection with the above work unlessotherwise specified elsewhere in this Specification.

    The Contractor shall arrange for submission of copies of testresults to the SO as soon as they are available. All tests andchecks on Site shall be carried out as directed by or in thepresence of the SO.

    Prior to the commencement of any concreting, the Contractorshall provide on Site at a shaded area at least one lockablewater- tight curing tank of approved material and design. Thetank shall be at least 760mm long, 530mm wide and 660mmhigh. The Contractor shall provide a sufficient number of tanksto accommodate the expected number of cubes, before theyare sent for testing.The Contractor shall also provide and maintain for the durationof the Contract adequate apparatus on Site for concretetesting to the approval of the SO. The cost of all samples,transport and other expenses incidental to testing shall beborne by the Contractor.

    The Contractor shall arrange and pay for the tests listed to becarried out at the approved Engineering Laboratory as andwhen the SO may direct or at such intervals as theSpecifications so require .
