We offer much more than a high-quality laminate printing

and fi nishing service – we also turn the laminate into a

tube ready to be fi lled. As well as providing a fi nish in up

to ten colors, we can offer hot or cold-foil stamping, or

apply refi ned fi nishing effects (such as a soft-touch effect,

Iriodin pigments, a scented varnish or many other options).

The tubes are available with screw or fl ip-top caps in

diameters of 35, 40 or 50 mm. Our laminated tubes can

be supplied with EVOH and aluminum barriers and we

can apply 360 degree printing. Consequently, the full

surface area is available for your decorative designs.

More attractive, less expensive, and with more satisfi ed

In addition, we showed our business partners the t ech-

nical possibilities of different printing processes, such

as fl exographic, screen and digital printing, and foil

stam ping, and weighed these against each another.

Throughout the development and manufacturing

process, we acted in the interests of the customer as

a coordinator between the fi lling company, the agency

and the tube manufacturer.

We also provided support to ensure that the complex

process of print approval was organized as simply as

possible and was oriented to the needs of the customer.

The gang runs for all the colors and the different hair

types were therefore coordinated in a single operation.

In order to achieve consistent quality within the product

range, the process even incorporated packaging

manufactured without Permapack’s involvement.

Added value for customers.The relaunch was a success across the board and is now

boosting the customer’s own quality brand in the long

term. As the end customer, the drugstore chain expressed

its huge satisfaction both with the new packaging design

and the print quality across the entire product line, as well

as with the effi ciency of all those involved in the process.

We are particularly pleased that based on the positive

results, we have been able to secure further relaunch

jobs, which we will – of course – complete with ‘simply

better solutions’.

The customer’s challenge. A product relaunch is the perfect opportunity to scrutinize

not only the attractiveness of packaging but also the

cost – with a view, of course, to optimizing the quality at

the same time. This was the line of thinking adopted

by an international processor of cosmetic products that

approached us on behalf of a leading chain of drugstores

in Germany. The mission was to replace the existing

product packaging for a hair product with new packaging

that was, of course, better, cost-effective and more

attractive.

A comprehensive solution.Our solution began at the stage of advising the customer.

After clarifying the situation in intensive talks with a

tube supplier, we showed the customer the enormous

potential for improvement and cost savings of switching

from the existing labeled bottle to a laminated tube. For

this ‘customer of a customer’, this also opened up the

possibility of giving the packaging a signifi cantly more

distinctive design that would further boost sales – a real

competitive advantage in Germany’s tough drugstore

market.

for various fi lling companies and for us: to raise the entire

the very top of the country’s major league. And on a lasting

basis.
