Welcome to the GeComplexity ConferenceThe GeComplexity Conference is organized under the COST Action “The EU in the new complex geography of economic systems: models, tools and policy evaluation” (www.gecomplexity-cost.eu).

The GeComplexity Conference aims to become an interface for presentations and discussions on the latest research in the fields:

i. Economic Geography modeling and multiregional New Economic Geography models.

ii. Institutions and markets, effects of economic policy instruments on regional inequalities, economic welfare and competitiveness.

iii. Social and industrial interactions, economic networks, spatial economic systems and individual location choices.

iv. Mathematical and computational methods and tools for the study of strategic interaction, heterogeneity, complexity and nonlinear dynamics.
