A survey by UK job site Adzuna, spoke to 3,587 people and discovered a staggering 35% �bbing about their education. It also found out that 30% of HR professionals waived o� quali�cation checks if a candidate had prior work experience. Counterfeit degrees have long been plaguing the Education & Recruitment sector, undermining the e�orts of genuine candidates. Last year, Delhi Police busted a PAN-India racket involving 40 agents selling over 50,000 fake degrees and certi�cates of nearly 30 universities and boards in India. To curb this risk, the University Grants Commission (UGC) recently issued a list of 23 universities that are fake and not allowed to award any Undergraduate or Postgraduate degrees.
