Established by George Henry Hurt in 1912, followed by his son Leslie Hurt. G.H.Hurt & Son continues our local Nottingham tradition of handframe knitted pieces of the highest quality.
The heritage craft of handframe knitting has been passed down through generations of makers. Now translated onto modern knitting machinery, our artisan skills and hand finishing is present in all our products, famous for our fine yarns, original design and intelligent use of colours.
The family knitwear firm is currently run by grandson Henry and great granddaughter Gillian, who continue the artisan crafts of their forbearers. Page 50
