COUPLES TOWER ISLE

More than 40 workers at CouplesTower Isle picked up long serviceawards, ranging from five to 35years. Clarence Smith, 35 years;Donna Burrell, 30 years; MarlonMcCarthy, 30 years; WinsomeMcPherson, 25 years; and Gwen-dolyn Tracey, 20 years, being thelongest-serving staff members at thepioneering hotel.

Star performers were Kirk Barriffeof front office, for Front of Hotelcategory; and Alecia Brown ofkitchen, for Back of Hotel. Otherwinners included Royan Marsh,Most Mentioned in CSQ; ErrolSewell of kitchen, Team Leader ofthe Year; Pollyanna Haber of admin-istration, Junior Manager of the Year;environment manager, CarlintonDodd – Manager of the Year; andSimone McKenzie of accounts –Most Active Environmental Warden.

Grounds won for Department ofthe Year and accounts for Most Envi-ronmentally Friendly Department.

The event featured by wonderfulperformances by the Silver BirdSteel Orchestra; Dance Expressions;and Jermaine Michaels, who wasbacked by Fusion band.

COUPLES SANS SOUCI

With Couples Resorts havingtaken control of Sans Souci hotel 10years ago, that figure represents thehighest number of years staff mem-bers would have served.

A total of sixty-eight persons werehonoured for serving 10 years andeight for serving five years.

Star performer for Front of Housewas Tasha-Gaye Braham of frontoffice, while Samantha Pryce ofkitchen took the Back of House cat-egory.

Team Leader of the Year wasAndrew Rodney of Bar. The JuniorManager of the Year award went toAllestean Johnson of cost control,while Leroy Walker of maintenancewon the award for Manager of theYear.

Department of the Year was frontoffice.

Star for 2015, provided entertain-ment for the afternoon.
